It has never been a more exciting time in the world of children’s celebrations with amazing new props, creative ideas and unique colour combinations.

Vendors are pushing their creative ideas to the limit and I love seeing the result.

WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STYLING FOR THIS PARTY SHOOT?

Willy wonka and the chocolate factory is such a nostalgic theme that kids of any age can enjoy. I wanted to blend nostalgia with modern creativity. Bright colours, and imaginative elements seen in the original movie.The bold, saturated colors like rich purples, candy pinks, and golden hues, paired with quirky textures, were key to bringing the chocolate factory to life.

WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP?

The cake was a stand out for me! The attention to detail was just incredible. I also loved the interactive elements such as the candy cart, the ball pit, the canvas painting and the slime.

I also loved my custom designed backdrop. I had this willy wonka illustration drawn to suit my vision and I am absolutely obsessed with how it turned out.

We used a lot of cutouts to bring this theme to life. Cutouts are a cost effective way to elevate any event and we use these in most of the themed events that we create. Having immersive activities for the kids to enjoy. Things like soft play or jumping castles, art stations or candy bars are all guaranteed to keep the kids and the adults happy throughout your event.

Wicked 8TH BIRTHDAY

WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STYLING FOR THIS PARTY SHOOT?

I am a huge fan of Wicked The Musical and now also a huge fan of it’s movie adaption. With it’s release just a few months ago, and part 2 dropping later this year, I thought what better time for a Wicked themed kids party? I foresee this being a popular theme over the next 2 years for kids from ages 3-12 and even adults celebrating their milestones with a Wicked themed event! Pink does go so good with green.

WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP?

I really loved the idea of the contrasting colours and personalities of the main characters Glinda and Elphaba. One a blonde, bubbly and popular individual who has pink as their favourite colour. The other a green outcast of society with a moody and bristling personality.So we split the party down the middle; one pink side covered in florals, oversize flowers, bubbles, and all things pink and light. The contrasting side all things green and dark, with her statement broom and branchy thorns on display. Down to the plates I wanted to keep it same but different, showing they are both girls of the same society just on different circles so we used the exact same plates and everything just in the different colours.

Kids birthday’s after 1 tend not to be as décor focused and more activity focused. So for when they are older think about what interests them and how you might plan an activity around it. You could hire some character entertainers or plan a craft activity around it (if not decorate witches hats what about decorate wands? So many ideas!) Or if you get stuck – first stop is call a planner! We can chat about what your kid’s interests are and help you figure out some themes and activities to suit their age range and theme.

AZ Sleepy Teepee

AZ Sleepy Teepee was started by Dana in 2018 for her daughters 10th birthday. She has grown her business in Scottsdale AZ and will soon be licensing to other cities in the United States

Since their beginning they have completed over 2000 parties and have over 40 themes available for teepee setups!

Although AZ Sleepy Teepee started as a kids centered business they now service everything from weddings to corporate events to bachelorette parties and more!

Dana has also started coaching other event businesses in managing and scaling their business as well as launching an online boutique to help mums have a one stop shop for party accessories.

Gabriela is obsessed with puppies! When she grows up she wants to be a vet! What better way to celebrate her birthday then to be surrounded by her favourite animals.

The cake was absolutely incredible! The level of detail, the gorgeous handmade puppies, everything was just perfect! The puppy cutouts brought this party to life, they were just adorable!

WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STYLING FOR THIS PARTY SHOOT?

Our boys, they are digger obsessed. If we drive past a construction site they always want to stop and watch the excavators, bobcats and forklifts work!

WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP?

There were quite a few elements of our display that were unique. Firstly our mini electric vehicles, but also the mini tool box activities from Packed to Party and the sensory set up from Little Party Play was such a fun and clever way for the kids to be engaged.
