we wanted to capture her magical, fun and playful spirit

THE INSPIRATION AND DETAILS...

When it came to planning Elliana’s 5th birthday, we wanted to capture her magical, fun and playful spirit and give her and her little guests a modern take on the timeless and classic Mermaid theme.

The pastel tones of peach, pink and mint green brought a sophistication to the event, pushing our creative nature to create something beautiful yet fun and choosing to pay homage to the classic purple the Mermaid theme often attracts.

There were details such as waves, shells and pearls we so delicately bought into the styling. We showcased the waves into the kids table furniture, the pink shelving unit, the balloons and streamers. We took inspiration from the purple shell backdrop that stood proud and we added further touches of

shells and pearls tastefully throughout; the personalized place card settings, the beautifully decorated cake, the gorgeous popsicles, the filled to the brim favour boxes tied together with gorgeous string of pearls and the ornate shell that was carefully resting on the candy boxes, all handcrafted by meticulous vendors.

It wouldn’t be a Mermaid theme without the classic fin, the mermaids tai! The peach tail was the perfect addition to the striking backdrop. Mermaid tails were graced around the gorgeous cake and cleverly referred to as “fintastic treats” on the shelving unit that held the kids take home treasure boxes.

The event brought lots of fun and activities from the jumping castle and ball pit, and art station which hosted painting, colouring and some fashionable tattoos - a little of something for everyone to enjoy!

The Celebrate Conference on June 4 2025 brought together event industry vendors for a day of connection, learning, discussion and being inspired to DARE more for their business in 2025. With incredible speakers, panel sessions and round table discussions everyone walked away with new ideas and practical business help. This pretty in pink party offered a dreamy backdrop for friends to relax, indulge, and celebrate in style

Our Pretty in Pink Pamper Party was the perfect blend of elegance, fun, and girly charm, creating a magical experience to capture unforgettable moments. The party was set in our beautifully styled day spa, decorated with soft pinks, gorgeous florals, and luxurious details, including stunning tableware, spectacular balloon garlands and delicious sweet treats. This pretty in pink party offered a dreamy backdrop for friends to relax, indulge, and celebrate in style. The theme was centered around all things pink and pampering: from sparkling pink lemonade to themed cookies and cupcakes and gorgeous personalised place cards and pearled bon bons for all girls to take home.

The girls were dressed in stunning party dresses with matching accessories and hair styles, whilst they enjoyed beauty treatments like manicures, glitter makeovers and footspas creating a spa-like atmosphere filled with laughter. The setting features endless photo opportunities that feel both sophisticated and playful, such as the various photo props and spectacular cake and plinth. Perfect for birthdays and girls days, this party captures candid, joy-filled moments. Dollies Tribe is a heartwarming mother-daughter business celebrating Aboriginal culture through beautifully crafted dolls and thoughtful keepsakes. What began as 13-year-old Savannah’s passion for painting and styling dolls has grown into a creative collaboration with her mum, Maryanne.

We wanted to create a unique theme for a Christening shoot that moved away from the classic white and gold colours

CHRISTENING SHOOT INSPIRATION….

We wanted to create a unique theme for a Christening shoot that moved away from the classic white and gold colours. So we featured a soft neutral and blue toned palette, brought to life with layers and texture. We brought everything together with a cascading balloon garland in shades of dusty blue, sage green, ivory, and gold. The cake was draped with flowing fondant which sat on a velvet covered draped plinth. We wanted the draping on the plinth to be different and stand out. The colour complimented the cake and the white arches in the background.

It was all go when baby Lakai arrived for his shoot. He was such a happy baby and he absolutely loved the camera. By far the easiest and quickest shoot we’ve witnessed.

We loved bringing everything together especially for something that is so sacred to many as they Christen their little ones. We wanted to honour that tradition and showcase a different look for something that has been celebrated throughout history.

Boot Camp

Inspired by White Castle Co’s new inflatable obstacle course, I knew it would make the ultimate Nerf battle ground. The white course sparked the vision for a modern take on the classic boot camp theme - swapping out the usual dark green camo and black for a lighter palette of white, sand and sage. From there, the party was built around the fun - activities kids already love were the priority with the theme coming together around them.

On arrival troops were handed clipboards with their first mission: create their military name and receive their dog tags before walking through the epic entrance arch into the camp. They then moved onto decorating their “uniform” hats (which double as party favours!), got familiar with the gear at our tactical station and practised their aim with some target practice before heading outside into a full-blown Nerf battle across the inflatable course.

Kids received individual mess kits with a slider or hot-dog, fries and water canteen while adults enjoyed a savoury graze and self serve bar. All styled simply with matching camo prints and lush greenery arrangements throughout. Every zone thoughtfully planned out with organised fun start to finish - proof even the most classic themes can be reimagined through fresh styling to suit your current tastes.

At the heart of the celebration was our Kids Soiree signature Doll Decorating Workshop, where each child received their very own blank doll to design and dress using a selection of gorgeous fabrics, embellishments, and accessories. It was truly magical watching each child light up with pride as their doll came to life — a keepsake they’ll treasure forever.

The party setting was styled with dreamy pastel tones, soft florals, and sweet garden-inspired touches that made it feel like stepping into a fairytale.
