Overview

In addition to our standard dealer opportunities, we offer the opportunity to join our Shop-in-Shop programme. Over the past few years, this programme has demonstrated international success with shops across Europe.

Built on our own expertise gained from operating 35 stores in the Netherlands and Belgium, this comprehensive concept streamlines the sale of our exquisite outdoor furniture selection. Among the benefits of launching a Shop-in-Shop with Life is that we provide everything you need, allowing you to focus solely on furniture sales.

Unlimited stock

As a retailer, there’s no need for you to manage your own inventory. All furniture sold can be delivered directly from our central warehouse in the Netherlands. Simply input the sets you’ve sold into our system, and they’ll be ready for delivery within two weeks. This eliminates the risk of unsold inventory and prevents tying up your finances in stock. You’re only required to purchase the furniture displayed in your showroom.

Endless combinations

Our selection and stock are created to offer endless combinations, allowing your customer to create their own unique garden furniture. Simply select the colour of the frame, choose the colour and material for the cushions, and complete it with one of the different table top options. This flexibility allows you to provide your customers with their dream set.

Each separate element is available for purchase, offering you the flexibility to sell individual pieces, create small corner sets, or expand with extensions, in-betweens, side tables, chaise lounges, and more. The possibilities are endless.

Looking to add a dining set, parasol, or tete-a-tete? No problem. They are available in the same colour combinations as well! !

Stock

Our warehouse and headquarters span over 30,000 square metres and are located in Roosendaal, the Netherlands, strategically positioned between the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp. This prime location allows us the flexibility to unload and ship containers through both ports. Inbound containers carrying new stock from our production units arrive year-round. Ensuring a steady inventory is crucial to us, especially considering our shops also operate year-round. This sets us apart from competitors who offer fixed sets in limited colour options. We offer loose elements, with each frame, cushion, and table top available as a separate item. As our Shop-in-Shop partner, you’ll enjoy almost unlimited flexibility in creating the perfect set.

To simplify matters, we design our furniture to fit standard cushion sizes (Medium, Large, and Extra Large), making stock management easy and straightforward. We will provide you with comprehensive information about our assortment and stock during a tour of our head office and warehouse.

Collection

The collection is meticulously crafted by our Dutch concept and design team, boasting the distinctive “Life signature”: robust and premium designs and materials that enjoy widespread international acclaim while also being commercially viable. Each year, we introduce new sets, lines, and enhancements to existing lines, with approximately 20% of the assortment being refreshed. Rest assured, we will keep you informed well in advance about any upgrades.

Floor plan

To deliver an exceptional customer experience, the floor plan for the Shop-in-Shop display will feature various themes, showcasing the furniture at its best. We understand the importance of adapting to local preferences, so your floor plan will be tailored accordingly. As it’s challenging to convey this concept on paper, we would be delighted to give you a tour of one of our stores or at one of our Shop-in-Shop partners.

Your floor plan will be part of a comprehensive package, including flooring, signage, picture walls, artificial plants (if needed), cushion displays, and the Mix & Match book. Our shop interior designers excel at creating an atmosphere where customers feel at ease and can instantly envision the furniture in their own outdoor space.

Our experience has demonstrated that the minimum dedicated space required for a successful Shop-in-Shop display is 300 m2. However, larger showrooms, ranging from 700 to 1000 m2, have proven to be most effective. The larger the Shop-in-Shop, the more prominently the products and the Life brand will stand out, allowing you to establish yourself as the specialist in your area. Our collection allows us to create Shop-inShops spanning up to 4000 m2. If you’re considering opening up a new store, we can provide guidance on the ideal size for your Shop-in-Shop needs. Similarly, if you’re looking to integrate a Life Shopin-Shop into your existing store, we can estimate costs and potential profits for you.

All marketing materials used in our local market are available to you, translated into English.

This includes:

Simply connect the QR-code scanner provided to your computer or tablet to access our web-based ordering system. Next, scan the items you need from the sales book. Our system will instantly display the stock availability. Enter your reference details and choose your preferred dispatch or collection date from our warehouse. Send the order through with one simple click, and it’s done! Your order will be reserved immediately.

The process is so user-friendly that we can explain it all in just 5 minutes, ensuring everyone is on the

same page. Plus, you can provide customers with instant updates on when their garden furniture will be installed right then and there.

To minimise freight costs, which can make up a significant percentage of the total purchase value, we will agree on fixed delivery days. This allows you to collect or receive full truckloads of furniture at once. For your reference, most Shop-in-Shop partners opt for one shipment every 1 or 2 weeks.

As a Shop-in-Shop partner, you’ll have access to your dedicated Shop-in-Shop account manager. They’ll guide you, advise you, and be your go-to person for any questions, feedback, and a friendly chat. Your account manager will personally check your orders to ensure your customers are 100% satisfied.

In addition to our products, showrooms, and materials, our service department is always at your disposal. We handle all service requests promptly and efficiently. We understand the importance of after-sales care and always strive for the best

solution. With an extensive range of spare parts, cushion covers, and other solutions on hand, we’re equipped to address any service requests.

When a customer comes to you with a service request, simply forward it to us, and we’ll provide the best solution possible. Our service team is accessible and committed to maintaining a close relationship with you. They can also assist with any questions you may have regarding maintenance and protection.
