At Life Outdoor Living, we want you to enjoy your garden furniture for as long as possible. With the right care and protection, your set will maintain its beautiful appearance and have an extended lifespan.
Check screws and bolts once a year and tighten them if necessary.
Allow your garden furniture and cushions to dry completely before covering them with a protective cover.
Regularly move accessories on tables to prevent rings or discoloration caused by long exposure in the same spot.
Use the right cleaning and care products, such as a specialized Cleaner and Protector, to provide extra protection for your furniture.
Aluminium is a lightweight, low-maintenance material that does not rust and has a modern look. The powder coating provides extra protection against scratches and stains, helping to preserve its colour for years to come.

Aluminium, Textilene, Polywood & Wicker Cleaner
1. Rinse off loose dirt and leaves with a garden hose. Do not use a highpressure cleaner to avoid damage.
2. Clean the furniture with our Aluminium Cleaner and a soft sponge.
3. Avoid storing your furniture upside down to prevent water from getting trapped inside the frame through the drainage holes.
Teakwood is a strong and durable material with a warm, natural look. Because of its high oil content, it does not dry out and is more resistant to water. Over time, the wood naturally changes to a platinum-grey colour. Our teakwood is sustainably sourced and certified with the SVLK or FSC® label.
Your teak furniture has been treated with Teak Shield, but this layer wears off over time. To keep your furniture well-protected against dirt and stains, we recommend applying a new layer within four weeks after delivery. Make sure the surface is dry and clean before using our Teak Shield. Maintain your teakwood this way at least twice a year (spring and autumn).
1. Rinse off loose dirt and leaves with a garden hose or a wet sponge.
2. Use Teak Cleaner for cleaning. Let it sit briefly, then scrub in the direction of the wood grain with an Aluminium sponge.
3. If you want to refresh the colour, apply Teak Colour, and let it dry outdoors.
4. Finish with our Teak Shield for extra protection. After 4 hours, apply a second coat and let it dry for 2 days before covering the furniture.
Did you know?
At Life, we use the finger joint technique to create larger and stronger teak panels that are less likely to warp. Small cracks due to weather changes are normal for teakwood and nothing to worry about.
Restoring and maintaining your preferred teak colour
Want to bring back the original teak colour? Follow these steps:
Shake the bottle well. Apply a thin layer of Teak Colour Robust and let it sit for 30 minutes. For a darker shade, apply a second layer.
Shake the bottle well. Apply a thin layer of Teak Colour Grey and let it sit for 30 minutes. For a more intense colour, apply a second layer.
Shake the bottle well. Apply a thin layer of Teak Colour Nature and let it sit for 30 minutes.
Polywood is a low-maintenance material with a natural wood grain look. It is resistant to UV rays and weather conditions, so it stays beautiful for a long time with little care. It is also easy to clean, so you can enjoy it worry-free.

RuCore and RuCore+ are durable, flexible materials with a waterresistant rubber core that dries quickly and has a comfortable feel. The difference lies in the outer layer: RuCore has a blend of synthetic material and olefin, similar to our Soltex cushion fabric, while RuCore+ is made entirely of synthetic material, like our All-weather cushion fabric. This makes RuCore+ even easier to clean.

Stonex is waterproof, low-maintenance, and resistant to UV rays and frost. It consists of multiple layers of micromortar, lime, and minerals, giving it a concrete-like look with a handmade finish. The waterproof, dirt-resistant coating creates a subtle “cloud effect” and unique colour variations, making Stonex both durable and stylish.
Avoid prolonged standing water or objects in the same spot for too long to prevent staining or discoloration. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents that could damage the protective coating.
1. Apply the Stonex Cleaner with water.
2. Let it sit until a haze appears, then polish the surface with a dry cloth.
3. Stonex garden furniture can remain outdoors but should be covered with a protective cover when not in use.

All our cushions are high-quality and designed for intensive outdoor use. They provide durability, comfort, and protection against the elements. There are three types—All-weather, Soltex, and Comforma—each with unique properties and benefits.
Always avoid leaving cushions wet for long periods. If they get soaked, place them on their side or at an angle so that the water can drain out easier.
Always let cushions dry completely before covering them with a protective cover.
Clean your cushions regularly and use the right cleaning products, such as our Cleaner and Protector, for extra protection.
If the cushions are very dirty, they can be washed in the machine at 30°C without spinning. Keep in mind that frequent washing may affect their lifespan.
Fluff and rotate cushions regularly to keep the filling evenly distributed.
Enjoy a beautifully styled garden set all year round. This fabric is specially designed to withstand all weather conditions, so you don’t have to worry about bringing your cushions inside.

The cushion cover is made of soft-touch Textilene—a comfortable fabric with tiny pores that allow water to pass through. When water enters the polyester filling it easily drains out through the open-cell structure. As a result, the cushions dry quickly, so you can enjoy your outdoor space again soon after a rain shower. If the cushion gets wet, press down on it and place it on its side. This allows most of the water to drain out immediately, helping it dry faster.
1. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth and Textilene Cleaner. We recommend you doing this twice a year, even if the cushions do not appear dirty.
2. Let the cleaner sit briefly, then clean the cushions in circular motions using a wet sponge.
3. Rinse well with water and let the cushions air dry.
Our soft Soltex cushions are lightly water-permeable, making them suitable for outdoor use. Like All-weather cushions, they need time to dry after rainfall. If you prefer, you can use our Protector to make them water-repellent. This makes Soltex cushions highly versatile, comfortable and, with the right care, well-protected against the elements.

Enjoy extra convenience and extend the lifespan of your garden furniture with our protective covers. They keep your furniture clean and dry, so you can use it immediately when the sun comes out. The covers are made from durable polyester with a breathable membrane, making them resistant to changing weather conditions. With fabric class 7, they retain their colour, providing long-term protection and a fresh appearance.
For certain materials, such as teakwood, it is important that the cover does not rest directly on the tabletop, as the wood needs to “breathe.” In these cases, place our protective cover raiser on the furniture first in order to create a gap under the cover. This allows proper ventilation and prevents moisture buildup.
1. Secure the cover firmly with the straps to prevent flapping and tearing.
2. Remove the cover occasionally to allow ventilation and reduce moisture buildup.
3. Avoid leaving cushions under the cover for extended periods if condensation is likely.
4. Use Cover Caps under the cover for materials that require airflow.
