‘Justin was instrumental in getting our first People’s Pint event off the ground and was a spirited advocate of all things craft beer. I also had the pleasure of doing several beer tasting seminars at the Gladstone that Justin organized and promoted. It was that experience specifically that impressed me most about Justin.
When I did my very first tasting seminar there the Gladstone wasn’t overly busy on most weeknights. Justin planned a number of events and experiences (adult colouring, beer tastings, Get School’d events, etc) that brought people in and within 6 months the Gladstone Hotel’s various bars and event spaces were filled with people on a regular basis.
I credit Justin’s vision and persistence in making that happen. He believed in what he was trying to accomplish and was successful as a result. He is an out of the box thinker and would be a valuable asset to any organization. He’s also one of the most personable and friendly guys I’ve ever met, and a pleasure to spend time with.’
We’ve worked with him several times for events at the Gladstone Hotel. He is a awesome dude and honestly one of the best people we’ve worked with.
He is a huge Craft Beer proponent and has been a part of organizing several events such as the 12 Beers of X-Mas / Summer and the first Peoples’ Pint.’
Justin approached me with an idea to recreate one of my famous house parties at 159 Manning at the Gladstone Hotel.
I found him to be very open minded in supporting and facilitating the creative ideas that we both planned together. From artists through to had. Without him, the event would not have happened, or been the sold-out success it was.

‘Justin first approached me with the idea for the Get School’d workshop series 2 months of starting in the Marketing Manager role. His vision was to create an educational workshop series that linked local artists and creators with the participants. Through his hard work and determination, the workshop series has been a resounding success.’

sell out events every year since 2014
600+ people in the venue at each event over 200k in revenue generated featured in over 12 publications
‘My experiences with Justin at The Gladstone have been fantastic. We work with tons of marketing representatives, and Justin always stood out as particularly organized, communicative, and committed to any project he brought to us.
I’ve always appreciated Justin’s passion for craft beer. I’m sure the big guys want as much of the market share at Gladstone as they can get, yet Justin was always more supportive of local brewers and even spearheaded a bi-annual craft beer tasting experience to help Queen Westers expand their beer palettes.
Justin is a fun dude with a keen eye for marketing.’
