OUR VISION: Building a healthy community through enrichment, innovation, and fun! HOW WE WERE FORMED: Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education and Recreation was formed in 1956 by the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District. Commonly known as “LGS Recreation”, the department was re-organized by the three local school districts as a separate joint powers agency to ensure the effective and efficient provision of community education and recreation services to the communities of Los Gatos, Saratoga, Monte Sereno and Mountain communities.
PARTNER TO MAKE AN IMPACT: LGS Recreation receives no tax dollars and relies on the support of fee-based programs, grants, subsidy, and sponsorship. With a community client list of over 100,000, mailed publications to over 39,000 local households and businesses, meaningful connections with local schools, and thriving partnerships with local civic organizations and service groups, your contribution will help offset the cost of community events while participating in impactful partnership engagement for local businesses and organizations. Annually, LGS Recreation hosts dozens of special events, providing opportunities for Sponsors to connect directly with the community, increase visibility, and build brand awareness in your backyard.

EXCLUSIVE DONATION TO THE 55 PLUS PROGRAM
The LGS Recreation 55 Plus Program is dedicated to ensuring free or low-cost access to recreation, education, socialization, and wellness opportunities for older adults. We create a sense of belonging through connections in the community and meaningful recreation programs that address social, psychological, physical, and cognitive needs of older adults. Our Senior Center also acts as a Hub of information to connect older adults or caregivers with services and resources.
Programs rely on the support of fee-based programs, grants, and subsidy. Your contribution will help to ensure long-term uninterrupted service of this vital program area. Donations may be submitted in $1 increments and any amount, big or small, is appreciated. Donations of $200 or more will have logos on 55 Plus promotions and tabling opportunities.
