CHANGE

Change is powerful.
One day I sat down at my desk... And I thought about change and Pondered on things that do change Why they change Then I looked outside my window, And saw the sun shining brightly, Then I thought to myself; Seasons come and go, And sceneries change over time And that nothing ever stays the same. It brought a cloud upon me, To think that; Change can make us cry But that change can also make us happy Change can mean leaving the ones we love, But also creating new relationships, Change can mean growing up, And that change is anything that is different from what we are used to.
The thing is;
Everyone wants things to stay the same, Everyone wants things to be ‘normal’, But over the years, through experience, And things around me constantly changing, I've learned that some of the best poems don't stick to a specific format, And many great novels don't have a straightforward start and finish, Life is about not knowing what to expect, Embracing change, And taking those opportunities, Making the best of life without knowing what's going to happen next.
Change is a powerful weapon,

That we don’t often like, Because we don’t accept it, And think that it is only trying to make our lives miserable, Whereas it can be the only thing that forces us to grow, To discover new things and, Learn new lessons, And one of the only things that is constant in life .:
By EniolaAfuyeTurn over a new leaf
The final leaf lets go, Swaying gently from side to side as it falls.
It lands in a gutter, Forgotten. But it is happy: It will not return to its place on the branch. It will rest peacefully, Anticipating the arrival of new leaves in its place. The leaf and the past are left behind.
In doing so the tree has a chance To regrow and create new life, Allowing it to live its own.
The leaf observes, As people stroll past, Wondering what could have been. Grieving what they haven’t achieved. The leaf wishes they would just understand. They must leave their past behind, And grow their own future, If they are ever to move forward. If only they would just turn over a new leaf.
