a surf shop’s fanciest event yet the levitate foundation backyard ball
On July 2, 2023 we gathered 400+guests that included family, friends, and community activists, to celebrate the official launch of the Levitate Foundation at the fanciest function to ever be thrown in a surf shop - the Backyard Ball. This first-ever Levitate Foundation event was a night to remember with a curated art gallery, live art, an “Unbelievable Experiences” auction led by our friend Mark Stiles and Robbie of Ripe, who closed out the night with a very special set, following up on their sold out show at Boston’s MGM Music Hall. This launch event was a time to champion the success stories from the Foundation’s first year and gain support for our upcoming projects surrounding access to creativity and the outdoors within our community.
