Why did you choose to attend ABC?

“I chose to attend Atlanta Bible College to achieve my Bachelors of Theology after completing my two-year degree at a local technical college in Minnesota. I knew I wanted my four-year degree, but I couldn't decide on a school or major. After some prayer and consideration, I decided to attend the Bible college. I also knew it would be a positive environment to grow closer to God with other like-minded students.”

What would you say tosomeone thinking about attending Atlanta Bible College?

“I think ABC is a great place to learn about the Bible, further your relationship with God, and make connections with other students.”

live a kingdom

How did your time at ABC prepare you for a life of ministry?

"ABC prepared me for ministry in many ways. First, ABC gave me a much more extensive knowledge of the content in the Bible itself through classes like the Old and New Testament survey classes. Second, ABC taught me a more in depth understanding of the teachings within scripture through clas-ses like Basic Bible Doctrine and Systematic Theology. Third, ABC provided many classes geared towards practical application such as Pastoral Procedures, Three Preaching classes, Youth Ministry, Apologetics, Principles of Evangelism, and Seth's leadership class. All these categories of classes real-ly equipped me to understand what I was to know and do as a future pastor. Also, not only did ABC provide classes, but they also provided many oppor-tunities to practice what we learned through chapel, camps, service hours, encouraging us to volunteer at Cornerstone Bible Church, and providing resources when students had their own ideas of ministry they wanted to do."

How did your time at ABC prepare you for a life of ministry?

“ABC helped prepare me for ministry in terms of biblical knowledge and preaching. Even though I didn’t pursue a pastoral degree, I took multiple classes on preaching and have spoken at my church using the skills I learned at ABC.”

what were some of the most meaningful experiences during your time at ABC?

“Some of my most meaningful experiences were the friendships I made with the other students there and the time spent with them.”

Since graduating from ABC, how have you been involved in ministry in your local church?

“It’s only been a couple months since I graduated, so I haven’t become too immensely involved yet, but I’ve been involved in more maintenance type things around the building.”

kingdom life

Since graduating from ABC, how have you been involved in ministry in your local church?

"Since I graduated, I have completed my nine-month long internship at the Lakeshore Bible Church in Arizona. During this time, I created strong and wonderful relationships with the church as well as giving myself much more experience in ministry. Just recently I accepted a senior pastor role at the Rock Solid Bible Church in Howard City Michigan where I regularly practice what I learned in college."
