About me
“I
offer all round marketing, communications, events and business support to small and medium sized businesses, charities, schools and training providers. My aim is to offer practical, cost-effective solutions that save you money and, if you’re in the private or voluntary sectors, boost your income and return on investment”

These have included very hands-on roles with tiny budgets, to very high profile campaigns in the national media, and successful turn-round roles and strategic positions up to Director level.
Well qualified As well as postgraduate level qualifications in marketing I also have a languages degree, CELTA and PTLLS teaching qualifications, and Certificates in Administrative Management and Business Planning.

The four essentials to a successful project 1. Know where you are going Be clear where you are going from the start: set SMART objectives and desired outcomes, understand your audiences, have clear, consistent and compelling messages and creative approaches.
2. Measure Measure as much as sensibly possible and learn for the future.
3. Integration Don’t work in silos. Your client sees the whole not the individual parts. Integrated communications are more powerful and cost-effective and will create synergy.
4. Infrastructure Build your infrastructure on firm foundations. Have the right people, data, planning and processes in place to make it happen. Good communication between all players in the team is vital.
How I can help you Strategy As the client you will know a lot of this yourself but I may be able to offer new insights and advice, or undertake a review, consultancy, communications audit or help with competitor monitoring. Specifically I can help you: Ÿ Define and set clear objectives and measures for inputs, outputs and outcomes
Planning Ÿ Develop project planning (Gantt chart) and budget spreadsheets and other tools to help you deliver your project on time, on budget and to specification.
Project management I am also available on a daily/interim basis to manage marketing, communications and events projects.
Ÿ Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Ÿ Establish a dashboard to monitor KPIs and identify software that can help in this process.
