The Israel & Palestine Conflict

The “Israel & Palestine Conflicts” and it matters because this conflict happened between these two sides going on from 1948 to present day. It's important to share awareness of this topic as it has impacted many lives during these series of conflicts. We should study this topic in World History class because it's been talked about on Tik Tok making it mainstream and a major topic to discuss, but we should educate ourselves on what is happening around us as it is an important part of history that is also related to WW2.

The current conflict between Israel and Palestine connects to the Holocaust and World War Two. The genocide of six million Jewish people led to international support for the creation of a Jewish homeland. Its a political change as it involved the establishment of a new nation; Israel in 1948. This also included international involvement as it was backed by international political resolutions like the United Nations Partition Plan in 1947. Also the impact of world war two and the holocaust affected the partition plan of 1947 that proposed Palestine in separate Jewish and Arab states making Jerusale under control. Events that the Holocaust contributed to the current conflict of Israel and Palestine is that it amplified the Zionist movement, increasing in Jewish immigration to Palestine. The Holocaust played an important role in the historical and political situation of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict.

Analysis Paragraph

Timeline: Key events in the Israel-Arab and Israeli-Palestinian

Timeline: Key Events in the Israel-Arab and Israeli-Palestinian Conflict”is somewhat reliable as it does state reliable facts on Israel's past and the key events that took place on the timeline about Israel. But this article seems to overlook some things as it doesn't really talk about what Israel does in rebellion to the Palestinians; or show anything about the Palestinians. It seems in this source there's a little bias as it never talks about Palestinians or what has happened to the Palestinians when Israel attacks. As in the article “Timeline: Key Events in the Israel-Arab and Israeli-Palestinian Conflict”, it talks about the ongoing war in the present day which was 2023, where it talks about the largest terrorist attack in Israel but no palestine. As what the article is saying is true, it has no information about the Palestinians and they put a bad light on them about attacking Israel when there's little to no information on what Israel has done. This document tells the reader that they only show what the reader is supposed to see and overlooks details that are important, they don't show both sides of the story besides Israel.
