My name is Laura Luiza Thomas, I am an architect and urbanist graduated from the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, and currently pursuing a master's degree in Sustainable Urbanism and Spacial Planning at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Throughout my journey in architecture, I have interned and worked in studios where I had the opportunity to develop architectural projects, interiors, renovations, among others, participating in various stages from preliminary studies to executive project development and client presentations, always with a focus on expressing my creativity in seeking innovative solutions. These experiences have encouraged me to enhance my software skills, and now I am proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape and Photoshop, at same time I am expanding my knowledge in Revit.
I have also been responsible for sourcing and contacting suppliers and professionals who could provide the necessary products and services for project execution, considering budgets, service and product quality, and efficiency.
At the moment, I am concluding the aforementioned master's degree, which has provided me with the opportunity to become familiar with Portuguese legislation related to urbanism and architecture.
Due to my experiences and skills, I believe I am well-equipped to face any challenges that may arise. I have strong interpersonal skills and work effectively in teams, eager to learn and also share my knowledge with others. At this time I am seeking professional experience to familiarize myself with the Portuguese and European job markets and also to apply my expertise and contribute to the field.
