The fun begins! Any home you’re interested in checking out in person, let me know and we can see it together!

You’re more than welcome to check out open houses, but depending on the home and the market, they can be very busy and distracting.

Never hesitate to ask me for a private showing! We’ll go over age of mechanicals, roof, general condition of the home, and highlights of the area.

CLOSING DISCLOSURE

Lenders are required to provide you with a closing disclosure prior to closing This will show you what your final loan terms and closing costs will be.

FINAL WALK THROUGH

We will do a final walk through the home within 3 days of closing to check the property’s condition. We will make sure any repair work that the seller agreed to make has been done.

CLOSING TABLE

Who will attend:

• Buyers, Sellers & their agents

• A title company representative

• Your loan officer may be there

• Any real estate attorneys involved

CLOSING COSTS

Closing costs can vary depending on your home’s purchase price and where you are located. Your lender should be able to help determine the closing costs as well.

After closing, unless there is a postoccupancy period, you’ll receive the keys and it’s time to move in!!

I was born and raised on the Eastside of Madison and attended East High School and later UW-Madison for both undergraduate and graduate school. After several years working in social services, I decided to become a real estate agent. My passion for working with people combined with the creativity, competitiveness, and knowledge it takes to help people buy and sell homes made it evident I made the right career move.

My husband and I have two kids who keep us busy and remind us to slow down and enjoy the little moments. We love going for family hikes around Madison and sampling new coffee shops and breweries. Training for triathlons and marathons has made me appreciate the accessibility of trails around the state and the friendliness of the Midwest. Our vibrant city continues to add something for everyone – parks, libraries, and exceptional local restaurants.
