The Henry Vilas Zoo is an admissionfree, community supported zoo in Madison with over 600 animals from all over the world to visit and see!

OLBRICH GARDENS

With one of the largest domes in the world, our state capitol building is worth a visit! Open 7 days a week to the public and free guided tours, it makes for a great day event to get out of the house year round!

Olbrich Botanical Gardens is a 16 acre outdoor botanical garden and 10,000 square foot conservatory. Any day of the year this makes for a great visit, and their yearly GLEAM art exhibit always makes for a great experience.

No matter the time of year, there is always something to enjoy in Madison Parks. Whether it is a softball game, a round of golf, an outdoor concert, a dip in the pool, a family reunion, an afternoon of ice skating or a quiet hike - Madison Parks has something for everyone with over 270 to choose from and 6,000 acres.

Most allow dogs on leash, however there are 8 off leash dog parks. And lets not forget our Beaches! Surrounded by lakes, finding a place to swim and play on a hot day is important and we have 12!
