Georgia Tech (Beta-Kappa)

Hanover (Theta-Zeta)

Brad Bauerkemper was named a finalist for Mr. Ga Tech at Homecoming. A former ritualist chairman, he is a FASET Leader and is very involved in other campus and fraternity activities. FASET is the campus orientation program for new students.

The chapter traveled to the Gamma-Gamma chapter at the University of Cincinnati to conduct an Initiation Ritual Exemplification. Following the event, the Gamma-Gamma brothers thanked the Theta-Zeta chapter by hosting a breakfast.

The chapter held an Initiation Ritual Exemplification for 26 brothers. Total chapter membership is now at 100.

High Point (Iota-Phi)

Former Fraternity staff member Jim Latimer (1979) has launched his own coaching business, StrongStart Coaching. In addition, he has joined the faculty of Coaching4Clergy, a rapidly growing organization dedicated to the vision of deploying the art/resource of coaching throughout the ministry world.

On January 14, 2012, the chapter held an all-day officers retreat where each of the newly-elected officers discussed the chapter’s direction. Many positive and exciting ideas were discussed and planned, including their annual Pig Roast and Rock A Thon Philanthropy events that will be held this spring semester.

Illinois (Chi)

Gettysburg (Theta-Pi)

The chapter hosted its centennial celebration in honor of the chapter’s founding on October 1, 1911. A celebration banquet was held in the Illini Union Grand Ballroom. In addition, a cookout was set up before the home football game in which the Fighting Illini defeated then-ranked Arizona State. In January 2012, the chapter held an Initiation Ritual Exemplification for its 2,000th initiated brother, with alumni from all over the world in attendance. Some of the alumni had also been in attendance when the 1,000th brother was initiated.

Chapter brothers are helping clean the backyards of elderly neighbors as part of their community service work. Varsity soccer players Craig Heckman and Andrew Bellis achieved all-conference status and academic honor roll, respectively.
