WANDER… There comes moments when we feel we want to be at totally different places, unfamiliar ones, lost in old streets of cities we’ve never been to before. It is times like these when the urge to plan new trips is inevitable. Travel, roam, wander; it is the best way to heal your soul and to grow. It doesn’t matter whether it is a massive trip around Europe, a trip to the world’s most exotic islands, or a little exploration in your hometown. Whatever it is, and wherever you’re heading; wander and explore.

Walk through unfamiliar streets, admire the architecture, and appreciate the history behind an old building. Stop by old shops’ displays, indulge in food you’ve never tried before, and sip your coffee while you appreciate the beauty of the now. Get absolutely lost, look through street signs, struggle to find your way back home, and while you do, appreciate all the new things that come in sight.

Smile to strangers, talk to random people, ask them how they feel, and wish them a day filled with happiness. Walk, and walk, and wander; and when your feet can’t carry you anymore, take a moment to just sit there and take a look around you. Get in touch with your feelings, with your thoughts, and I bet it has been a while since you’ve last felt connected to your inner self.

Wander, search, and explore; not only your outer surrounding, but explore the hidden corners of your soul too. It is ok to get lost at times; it is ok not to know where you are, or where you’re heading, because this is how you grow, evolve and find your path.

Home Remedie for Oily and Shiny Skin

Oatmeal

Oatmeal is very effective in absorbing excess oil in the skin as well as keeping it from looking shiny. Oatmeal can be used as a scrub when ground and can be combined with other ingredients such as yogurt or honey. To make oatmeal mask, mix ½ cup of ground oats with hot water to form a paste. Add 1 tbsp of honey to the paste and blend well. Add the mask onto your skin and leave for 10 -15 minutes. Rinse the mask with warm water.

Egg Whites & Lemon Both egg whites and lemon are known to work wonders for oily skin.

These ingredients also help tightening the pores, and the acids in lemons are very effective in absorbing excess oil. Mix 1 egg white with 1 tsp of freshly-squeezed lemon juice. Apply the mask onto your face and leave till it dries. You will feel your skin tightening while the mask completely dries. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. For noticeable results, repeat this remedy twice a week.

Aloe Vera Besides its soothing properties for skin burns, aloe vera is also used to treat oily skin. It also helps balancing your skin and rids your skin from clogged pores. Apply freshly-extracted aloe vera gel on your face and leave for 30 minutes then rinse off with warm water. If your skin suffers from pimples, you can add a drop of tea tree oil. Repeat this remedy on a daily basis.

Tomatoes Tomatoes contain salicylic acids which help absorb excess oil and unclog the pores. To make an exfoliating tomato mask, add 1tsp of sugar to tomato pulp and stir. Use the mixture to scrub your face in circular motion then leave it for 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.

In reference to that, I worked on showcasing how we can mix the heritage of the Bedouin makeup look and life style with a modernized theme focusing into small face details and modernizing them for the right portrait. As makeup artists we always go back for our origins to enhance and boost the look by our culture background, as we can find the difference of the American, korean and european makeup look according to the their background and skin tones, The Bedouins are a group of people who have historically inhabited the desert regions usually divided into tribes in North Africa, Arabian Peninsula, and Iraq who have the same tanned skin tone that magically works out with the Sahara Nature, The hero in this portrait is Kohl (khur, kuhl, kahal, or kohol) is a black substance used by the women of the Arabian Peninsula as eyeliner and eyeshadow. Apart from making

the eyes look brighter and larger, kohl was once believed to have several value’s fitting as eyeliner to contour and darken the eyelids and as mascara for the eyelashes, it is worn mostly by women, but also by some men and children, It was believed that it protect against eye diseases and help control the glare and the harsh rays of the sun in the desert.

Regarding the portrait, I wanted to show the bold edge, daring, sexy and eye-catching Smokey eye look of the Sahara look, inspired by the desert ladies who mostly have a dark toned skin from the sun, Also

enhancing the eyebrows look and giving it the courageous, feathery , romantic and soft look which is also inspired now a days. It is a look that manifests the contrast between natural beauty in shining nude lips, matched with the boldness of the eye and gives that magical reflection of the desert sun.

The Egyptian beauty made a breakthrough into the art scene capturing the attention of many. Fueled with passion and persistence, Ayah works with determination to build her way to stardom. 1.AFTER YOUR AMAZING PERFORMANCE IN MALIKA, WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW DID YOUR ACTING JOURNEY BEGIN? It all began when I was a little kid. I grew up fond of all sorts of arts, be it singing, dancing, or acting, worth to mention my love for the camera. I loved to take pictures everywhere I go; I wasn’t in any way camera-shy. As I grew up my passion for art has been growing deeper and my family began to notice this and gave me a helping hand to explore my talents and envision where I want to be. This is when I began to develop a vision of where I want to see myself, who I want to be, and what I want to do. It was a vision so clear and vivid that it felt so real. I took it from there and began to set the very first steps in the path I’m after. I began with TV commercials and modeling, and then later on I enrolled in acting workshops to learn the techniques. This is when I began to set the first stepping stones that will take me to where I aspire to be.

2.WHAT IS THE CRITERIA BASED ON WHICH YOU CHOOSE YOUR ROLES? It basically depends on how I see myself in the role. It has to be a role that adds up to the whole plot of the work and appealing enough. I have to feel the role in order to add to it, especially that I am detailoriented. I meticulously study the character I’ll play, and I love to meet people whose character might have something in similar with the role I play. This significantly helps you to get a thorough insight about the depth of the character in order to personify the role.

3.AMONG THE ROLES YOU PLAYED, WHICH ONE IS THE CLOSEST TO YOUR HEART? Ayah in ‘Malika’; honestly it isn’t just a matter of sharing the same, but the similarities I had in common with this character. I enjoyed every single scene and I felt it intensely. Actually the initial name chosen for the role was Heba, but after my first meeting with the director, he noticed there are a lot of similarities between my character and the role. This is when he decided to change the name from Heba to Aya. 4.IF YOU GET THE CHANCE TO PLAY A ROLE WITH ONE OF THE TOP ACTORS AROUND THE WORLD WHO WOULD IT BE? If only he were still alive, definitely would have been Heath Ledger! To me, he’s my all-time favorite actor. I actually have my bedroom curtains painted with his pictures as the joker. He truly was legendary.

5.BESIDES ACTING, WHAT ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT? Music, Food, and shopping! That is actually me in 3 words.

6.WHO’S YOUR ROLE MODEL? It isn’t actually a role model as much as it is an objective or a target. My main motivator will always be my goals and where I want to see myself. If my objective is to get a leading role in a movie in two years, I will focus all my energy into bringing this dream to reality.

7.WHAT’S YOUR SOURCE OF INSPIRATION? The givers; those who give out a helping hand and want to make this world a better place. The world is full of people who are fighting their own battles, and so many people out there need help; be it emotional, on professional level, or even trying to make ends meet. When I see people reaching out for those in need and trying with all their effort to make their lives better, I feel so touched and inspired. It is just so noble and generous. I also admire people who smile at strangers for absolutely no reason other than trying to spread good vibes everywhere they go. I really don’t know how to explain this, it is very hard to be in the mood to smile at any given moment, so imagine how beautiful are the people who just like to smile at strangers who pass by them in the sidewalk, isn’t it just amazing. I also find music very inspiring. Music moves people; it really can take them through many emotions. It amazes me the amount of creativity and talent that it takes to produce a good musical piece or song.

Exercises That Will Rid You Of Flabby Arms

F

labby arms, or also referred to as bat wings, are common problem areas; especially for women. When you’re overweight, or when your body stores more fat in the upper arms, they begin to sag and get flabby. The part that gets affected the most is the triceps, at the back of your upper arm. While flabby arms can require some effort, the good news is, you will begin to notice results in a matter of weeks. The key is in a proper diet, eating right, as well as following some workouts that focus on toning and shaping the arms. Here are some workouts that will help you get toned arms.

1. Triceps Dips: This exercise doesn’t need any gym equipment as it only depends on your body weight. It can be easily done using a strong chair. Place your palms on the chair without sitting and keep your back and legs straight. From this position, bend your elbow and lower your hips towards the floor. When your lower body is parallel to the floor, push yourself upwards again using your triceps.

2. Triceps Kickbacks: This is a highly recommended exercise that will help you to tone the arm muscles. Bend 45 degrees forward at your waist while holding dumbbells. Start by bending your elbows so your upper arms are parallel

to the floor, then straighten your arms back again slowly. Repeat the same movement for three sets of 8 reps. You can work both arms simultaneously together or one arm at a time.

3. Triceps Extension: This exercise works wonders on strengthening your triceps and toning your arms. To start, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.

Hold one dumbbell with both hands, for a better grip wrap your thumbs around the dumbbell while being behind your hand and your palms facing upwards pointed to the ceiling. With your upper arm close to your head, your elbows should be close to your eyes and perpendicular. Lower your arm till the dumbbell touches the upper part of your back while keeping your elbow fixed in place close to your head. Use your triceps to push back your arm up again fully extended.

Combat Dehydration This Summer As the temperature rises up and the heat gets at its peak, one thing you should always keep on your priority list is to stay dehydrated. Dehydration occurs when your body loses an excessive amount of its fluids, and it’s a matter that shouldn’t be taken lightly.

During summer, it is highly likely that many people complain from dehydration. Worth to mention that your body maybe crying for helps with some symptoms without you knowing they are associated with dehydration.

What are the symptoms of dehydration?

To make up for the fluids you lose during workouts, always drink a glass of water before you begin, minimum of one glass during the workout, and a glass after workout. If you are working out in the morning, make sure to drink enough water the night before.

Always carry around a bottle of water: While water consumption and fluid body requirement vary from one person to another, always carry around a bottle of water and increase your water intake. An Indian INDULGENCE

INDIAN BUTTER CHICKEN INGREDIENTS: • 1 c. Greek yogurt • Juice of 1/2 a lemon • 1 tsp. turmeric • 2 tsp. garam masala, divided • 1 tsp. cumin • 1 1/2 lb. chicken breast, cut into 1” pieces • 6 tbsp. butter, divided • 1 large onion, sliced • 2 jalapeños, minced • 1 cinnamon stick • 3 cloves garlic, minced • 1 tbsp. freshly grated ginger • 1 tsp. paprika • 1 28-oz. can diced tomatoes • 1/2 c. heavy cream • Cilantro, for garnish DIRECTIONS: 1. In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, lemon, turmeric, 1 teaspoon garam masala, and cumin.

Toss chicken in mixture and let marinate for 15 minutes.

2. In a large Dutch oven (or wide pot) over medium high heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Working in batches, add the chicken and cook until golden all over, about 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside chicken.

3. Reduce heat to medium and melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add the onions, jalapeños, and cinnamon stick. Cook until the onion and the jalapeños are tender, about 8 minutes. Stir in the garlic, ginger, remaining teaspoon garam masala, and paprika and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

4. Add the tomatoes and bring mixture to a simmer.

Add the chicken and toss to coat in the sauce. Let simmer until the chicken is cooked through, about 8 minutes.

5. Add the cream and the remaining 2 tablespoons butter and stir until the butter has melted.

6. Serve warm over basmati rice with naan.

TANDOORI CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS WITH CILANTRO-SHALLOT RELISH INGREDIENTS: • 1 tbsp. sweet paprika • 1 tbsp. lemon juice • 1 tbsp. garam masala • 1/2 c. canola oil • 1 tbsp. ground cumin • kosher salt • 1 tbsp. ground coriander • Freshly ground pepper • 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric • 12 chicken drumsticks • 1 tbsp. finely grated peeled fresh ginger • 3/4 c. coarsely chopped cilantro • 4 clove garlic • 1 small shallot • 1/4 c. fat-free Greek-style yogurt • 3 tbsp. distilled white vinegar DIRECTIONS: 1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Set a rack on each of 2 large baking sheets. In a small skillet, toast the paprika, garam masala, cumin, coriander, and turmeric over moderately low heat, stirring, until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Transfer the spices to a medium bowl and cool slightly. Stir in the ginger, garlic, yogurt, lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons of the oil and season with salt and pepper.

2. Make 2 or 3 slashes in each drumstick. In a large bowl, toss the chicken with 2 tablespoons of the canola oil and season with salt and pepper. Add the spiced yogurt and rub it onto the chicken. Arrange the chicken on the racks, leaving 2 inches between the pieces. Roast for 45 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Light the broiler and broil the chicken 6 inches from the heat for about 5 minutes, until lightly charred and crisp.

3. In a small bowl, stir the cilantro, shallot, vinegar, and the remaining 1/4 cup of oil; season with salt. Serve with the chicken.

DIRECTIONS: • In a large skillet, heat the oil. Add the potatoes and cauliflower and cook over moderate heat, stirring, until golden in spots, 7 to 8 minutes. Stir in the garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, coriander, and curry leaves and cook until fragrant, 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper and add 1 1/2 cups of water. Cover and simmer over moderately low heat, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Stir in the tomato, peas, and butter and cook for 2 minutes longer. People always ask me, “Why do I keep dating the wrong people?” My answer often stuns them. “You’re probably making it happen,” I tell them. Sounds like tough love, and maybe it is. But there’s actually a deeper meaning behind it: We attract what we think we deserve.

To get started, you need to answer the following questions:

1. Have your past partners turned out to be who you thought they were?

2. Do you get attracted to people who are “out of reach?”

3. Are the qualities you look initially for in a partner what you really want?

4. Is it important to you that your partner is socially impressive?

5. Is the person you like available within your current dating options?

6. Are you being realistic in getting what you want based upon what you have to offer?

7. Are your choices often based more on romantic myths rather than realistic possibilities?

If your answers to questions 1, 3, 5, and 6 are “no,” and those to 2, 4, and 7, are “yes,” you are much less likely to find success in the dating market if you continue searching the way you have in the past.

Mystery solved! You need to own the fact that you are the one attracting the wrong people. Every person who has come into your life has not only come for a reason but because you attracted him or her to you.

Can you be yourself?

Can you express yourself?

Do you feel calm and at peace with this person?

If the answer is “I don’t know, I’m not sure, etc.” keep evaluating until you know for sure and truly understand how you feel. If you don’t feel safe now, you won’t feel safe when you are married. If you don’t trust now, this won’t change when you are married!

Bringing up issues when there’s conflict is a great opportunity to really evaluate how well you communicate, negotiate, and work together as a team.

When people get into power struggles and blame each other, it’s an indication they don’t work well as a team. Also important is being vulnerable around each other. Ask deep questions of each other and see how your partner responds. How do they handle it? Are they defensive? Do they attack? Do they withdraw?

Do they get annoyed? Do they blame you? Do they ignore it? Do they hide or rationalize it? Don’t just listen to what they say but watch for how they say it!

Never marry an addict. Addictions are not limited to drugs and alcohol. They can be about addictions and dependency on work, internet, hobbies, sports, shopping, money, power, status, materialism, etc.

When someone has an addiction, they will not and cannot be emotionally available to develop an intimate relationship with you. They will fake it now but they will get exposed later.

A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER: “While you’re busy looking for the perfect person, you’ll probably miss the imperfect person who could make you perfectly happy.”

Long-term desirable partners are authentic, accountable, resilient, forgiving, focus on solutions rather than problems, treasure what they have and they build whatever is broken. They learn from mistakes, and innovate when they are stuck. The closer you can become to attaining those characteristics, the better chance you’ll have of attracting someone equally desirable, regardless of the odds. The perfect love does not happen from a pre-written script that someone else has to buy in to. It is created by two people who keep deepening their love for each other as life happens.
