JUNE 13-15, 2025
Friday at 7 PM | Saturday and Sunday at 2 PM
Thank you to our Season Sponsors!
• The box office is open from 3 pm until 5 pm Monday through Friday and for one hour prior to each performance.
• The box office accepts cash, checks, and credit/debit cards.
• Single tickets become available for purchase 60 days before a production’s opening night.
Any ticket exchanges must be done through the box office in person or over the phone. Tickets may only be exchanged for another performance of the same show.
Please contact the box office to see if an exchange for a different date can be made. On rare occasions, LCT has allowed a ticket for one production to be used at a different production. If no exchanges can be made, the ticket price may be written off as a donation tax credit.
The use of cameras and/or recording equipment is strictly prohibited in the theatre. If you need to answer a call, please do so in the lobby so as to not disrupt the performance.
Flowers may be left in the box office for the stage manager to deliver or you may hand them to the cast member once they are in the lobby at the conclusion of the performance. Audience members are not allowed backstage.
If you have concerns about the weather facing an upcoming performance, please call the box office to double check that the performance will still continue. On rare occasions, LCT has canceled performances due to bad weather or cast conditions. If this occurs, exchanges or refunds will be issued.
Every individual, no matter the age, must have a ticket in order to attend the performance. If you would like to bring your children, please purchase seats for them even if they will be seated on someone’s lap.
Reservations for the general public begin at least 60 days before the opening of each show; season ticket reservations open the week prior. Patron donors may reserve their seats at any time. Please call the box office at 608-784-9292 if you have any questions.
Late arrivals will be seated at the house manager’s discretion during an appropriate point in the performance. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the show begins, we reserve the right to release your seat(s) to someone else.
Hearing Loops allow people who wear hearing aids to directly receive the sound from the theatre’s sound system in their own hearing aids, much like Wi-Fi for laptops. If you wear hearing instruments, and they have a wireless receiver called a T-coil or Telecoil built-in, you will benefit from the hearing loop in our theatre. The T-coil program is accessed by pushing a button on your hearing aid. This T-coil setting has to be activated before use. Please consult your audiologist to ensure your t-coils are properly adjusted.
If you do not have a T-coil equipped hearing instrument, please feel free to stop by the box office to pick up a hearing assist device.
UFAH enhances the cultural life of the area by encouraging and providing opportunities for businesses to invest in the programs of local Arts and Humanities organizations in an efficient and effective way.
Thank you for joining us today for The Big Bad Musical, a whimsical journey through the enchanted world of fairy tales - told through the extraordinary voices of our Penguin Project artists. Whether you’re joining us for the first time or are back again to cheer on the cast, your presence helps make the magic of inclusive theatre possible.
The Penguin Project is one of the most meaningful programs we produce at La Crosse Community Theatre. It uplifts young artists with disabilities and their peer mentors, giving them a stage to shine, grow, and connect. It’s a joyful celebration of what theatre can and should be - accessible, empowering, and filled with heart.
Earlier this year, we faced an unexpected setback when the National Endowment for the Arts withdrew its grant support for this program. But what could have been a roadblock became a rallying point. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we not only closed the gap - we built a stronger foundation for the future.
We offer our deepest gratitude to the individuals and organizations who stepped up to fund this year’s production and next year’s as well:

Your belief in this project has meant the world to us - and even more to our Penguins and their families.
If you're not with us on closing Sunday, we hope you’ll come again or encourage friends to experience the magic. And as we look to the future of the Penguin Project in La Crosse, stay tuned for more ways to support and get involved. Together, we can ensure this fairy tale continues for many years to come.
With gratitude and joy

I don't know about you, but I love a fairytale. They're cute and a little scary with a lesson to be learned all wrapped up in the idea of the deep dark woods.
I also love when a new twist is put on a fairytale. Maybe the Wolf isn't so bad.Maybe there's more to the story.
Penguin Project is a lot like that. There is more to our artist's stories and our mentors are happy to help tell them! These two groups of kids came together 12 weeks ago as strangers. They've supported each other, learned from each other and grown into the company you'll see today!
Thank you for supporting Penguin Project and the arts. Please sit back and enjoy The Big Bad Musical!
Stacy Bruemmer, Director

Now is YOUR chance to become part of the profound impact this expansion will have on the future of La Crosse Community Theatre. Your support and consideration in this matter is invaluable!
Together we will transform the arts in the Coulee Region! Scan Here To Donate!
