Welcome to this very special regional premiere of Disney's Frozen: The Broadway Musical! Few stories capture the imagination quite like this one, and bringing its magic to life on our stage has been an ambitious, joyful undertaking.
A show like Frozen demands that every element—lights, costumes, sound, sets, and props—works in harmony to transport an audience into a world of ice, wonder, and heart (frozen or thawed.) From the earliest design meetings to the final dress rehearsal, our technical and artistic teams have poured tremendous creativity and precision into each moment you will see tonight. Even the enchanting puppets you’ll meet onstage were crafted in-house by our talented artisan, August Jennings, whose work helped shape the unique visual identity of this production.
And behind every scene are countless volunteer hours invested by community members—some who have been with LCT for decades, and others who joined us for the very first time on this adventure. It is their generosity of time, skill, and spirit that makes productions of this scale possible.
But the magic doesn’t happen through design and production elements alone. This cast has embraced the responsibility of pulling the audience fully into Arendelle—of making the fantastical feel emotional, immediate, and real. Their dedication, heart, and hard work are what ultimately breathe life into the story. And they did it all as the first cast to rehearse a show in our new Lyche Education and Production Center! Our Frozen company embraced every part of the new LEAP Center space, though the limited bathroom space meant the cast had to wait in line to "let it go," if you will. Through our upcoming capital campaign for LEAP, your support can help solve this problem as an act of true love that helps us create warm, welcoming, fully updated facilities for future casts.
We are honored to share Frozen with you and hope that, for a couple of hours, you’re swept up in the wonder, warmth, and courage that define this story about the ture love to be found in our families. Thank you for supporting live theatre and for being part of the LCT family.
Enjoy the magic!

ERIK VOSE Executive Director

Frozen is the perfect story of love, but not the typical love we think of. This story captures the first love we often experience: the love of family but specifically the love of siblings. Anna and Elsa are thick as thieves, but the power of fear divides them. They both so long to be able to be free with one another, but aren’t sure how to achieve this closeness. Frozen gives us an insight into a hard but fierce journey of self-discovery, one’s role in their world, and who one can lean on throughout their life and be met with unconditional love.
Unconditional love reminds me of this amazing cast and production team you will see before you shortly. These cast members have been willing and able to perform every silly direction I gave them. The production team has taken every spectacle I’ve suggested and set immediately to create it. This show has been so easy because of the unconditional trust my team as a whole has in me. They have not let me down, and I in turn have striven to not let them down with my direction and vision.
Unconditional love also reminds me of my first loves: my three younger brothers. They each have taught me and given me unconditional love from their first breath. We have a sibling relationship that is close, but marked with challenges we each have had to overcome in our individual lives. Our relationship as siblings is not perfect, we still hurt and disappoint each other. We each know how to drive the other to madness and beyond. But at the end of every day, our love for one another is palpable and desperate. That love is unconditional, growing and changing every day. It is a love that I see every time I watch Anna and Elsa journey through Frozen.
I’d like to dedicate this production to my three brothers: Eugene Joseph II, Maximilian James, and Francis Robert. My heart grew the day each of you were born, and I will hold you in my heart until my dying breath. Director’s Note
