MANY people either look forward to the festive pe riod and begin their countdown to Christmas in Oc tober, while others are left running for the hills to avoid the ‘silliness’ that comes with the season. As we get ready to wind down and take a breath er, we decided to reflect on some of the wonderful reasons to celebrate the year that was. Yes, we can talk about some of the lowlights as well (no pun on the word ‘lights’), but that would not be very festive at all. The team at the Fever has had a wonderful year and has shared some truly remarkable memories with you. We’ve had an actionpacked year from meeting wonderful individuals who are slowly changing their communities one step at a time to covering campaigns that shows a proactive community who are willing to fight for their beloved home towns. To those people who are continuously going the

Dear Readers, TODAY marks the end of another year for the Hillcrest Fever, and as the festivities kick off for this season, let us reflect on moments that touched our lives and the community this past year. 2014 has been marked by persistent challenges in our economy with price inflations (food, electricity, fuel, etc.). HE Shridi Sai Avatar Shrine of Blessings, which is based at 54 Hercus Avenue in Belvedere, recently conducted their annual feeding. The outreach programme, which has been in existence for the past five years, saw the organisation feed approximately 250 people in the community of Frasers. The organisation will not be conducting any feedings at present due to the rise in Covid19 infections. However, they will monitor the situation and arrange their next feeding accordingly.

Is Your Retirement Fulfilling?

Throughout your working life, you’ve talked and dreamed about your retirement. A time when you get more time for family. More time for holidays. More time for fun. Yet many retirees contact me because they are bogged down with tax, market returns and concerns about whether they have enough money. Can you relate to this? Proper retirement planning is a specialised service. If your initial planning was not done extensively, sooner or later, the cracks will show. If left unattended, this can severely erode your wealth and affect your health and well-being. This is exactly why I created Retirement Wellness. My intention is to help retirees make the most of their wealth. I realise that my qualifications are of no benefit if I cannot use them to help people.

By taking a holistic view of your finance, I am able to identify opportunities to grow your wealth and reduce your tax. In this way, I become a partner to your success and not an expense. But this is not just about saving tax or investing wisely. This is about enjoying life; making the most of it whilst you are fit and able to. I’ve helped many retirees take more control of their wealth. This has given them the peace of mind to enjoy retirement again. If you have a feeling that your money should be working better for you, it probably could. Contact me to Retirement Wellness experience.
