Android Messenger? There's no reason why Google should lag behind to steal one of the only marketing points of BlackBerry, i.e. its messenger. But as we expect something big from Google's camp, do not be surprised if they bring messaging game, covering SMS, email, instant messaging and video calling with tools combined in to one messenger by Android. So you won't require separate apps for each. And considering that Google is working on ultra fast internet services in US and Wi-Fi balloons around the world, don't be surprised to see free 5G video calling and texting between Android devices by 2020, with all of your conversations grouped by person rather than platform, and archived and searchable in Gmail.
Android Payments & Security Face recognition and fingerprint sensor are things of past, remember the NFC chip tattoo and pills that Google is working upon to make your identity unique? So get set for the Google Authenticator app of 2020 which would come with a NFC chip and will allow you to log into Gmail as soon as sit on you laptop or will make your payments as you step out of your restaurant!
Android Based hardware Hardware based innovations are going to play a big role in Android's Journey. Expect a smaller, thinner, and faster phones with bendable screens. Expect all new displays, brilliant batteries and superb mobile processors. Now expect a competitor of Galaxy Gear. Plus we can see wearable device in clothing too which my simply click, pick and stream the best pictures from your day. Expect deeper integration of Android in your life in 2020, but we hope that we will be able to trust Google with more and more information of our whereabouts with them!
