Students’ Exchange Programmes
It has always been a significant mission for our school to widen students’ horizons as well as their pools of knowledge. We thus have been organising outdoor learning activities of a wide range for students of different grade years. On the whole, the juniors are usually offered the opportunities to visit various places in Hong Kong, with knowledge and everyday life experience added to them through making observations. They also gain precious experience in getting along and interacting with peers or others in contexts beyond the school campus. Meanwhile, students of intermediate primary school level are encouraged to spend 3 days and 2 nights at a local campsite, helping them develop skills and experience in managing ones’ everyday lives. Those at senior primary school years are usually provided with trips to various cities and countries abroad. In those years not affected by the pandemic, we conducted trips for students to develop unique and unforgettable learning experiences in Australia, Britain, Canada, Vienna, Malaysia, Korea, Singapore, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Taiwan. It is hoped that the trip provided can open up students’ eyes and minds. In the near future, we will organise even more exchange programmes. We believe that learning experience gained outside the classroom can motivate students to try harder and develop skills of different types. Most important of all, our students learn how to be global citizens.
