President Sanket Saraf Takes a Bow RY 2021-22 ends with High Impact Projects & Great Fellowship at RCPB Serving to Change Lives: Well begun is half done, is not just a cliched saying. It holds true for President Sanket, who went on to carry out valuable projects touching all seven avenues of Rotary International. Membership development also took place with great buoyancy at RCPB during this year. Apparently, President Sanket truly stood for the RY theme, Serve to Change Lives. The projects touched thousands of lives in various ways. Awards night brings the curtains down: An awards night in which the President gave away awards for all the performers of the year was the concluding event during the year. All in all, the President is a satisfied leader. He gets RI the citation too. When a circle comes to an end, it just becomes complete. Something similar happened at the Rotary Club of Pune Baner as the year long journey during R Y 2021-22 made a full circle. Curtains will roll down on visionary President, Rtn. Sanket Saraf's tenure which ends on June 30, 2022. A bird's eye view at President Sanket's tenure: A journey that began with modest footsteps and lofty aims on July 1, 2021 took the Club on a new trajectory as President Saket Saraf started his year with the signature project, the Epilepsy Screening and Surgeries project. With a planned outlay of more than Rs. 2 Cr, the project is aimed at curing patients of the dreaded epilepsy.This project was kicked off along with Dr. Nilesh Kurwale, epilepsy surgeon at the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and Research Centre, Pune.
RCPB Congratulates PE Rtn. Satyanarayan Kabra A fresh year with President Rtn.Satyanarayan Kabra takes shape from July 1, 2022. President Elect Rtn. Satynarayan Kabra will be installed as the Club's 12th President on July 01,2022 at Bal Kalyan Sanstha, Pune in a glittering ceremony. Rtn. Jigneash Karria will be the Hon.Secretary in RY 2022-23. The Board of Directors will be installed on the same day. The chief guest for the function is Past District Governor, Rtn. Mohan Palesha.
President's Message Rotary Greetings The Presidential year 2021-22 at the Rotary Club of Pune Baner has come to an end with a blink. I am honoured and thankful that I got a chance to serve as the President of RCPB. I would like to extend my thanks and sincere gratitude to all the members, the BOD and the donors who supported me during this tenure. During this stint, I came face to face with humanity. I realised that there is a dire need to support community at various levels and my faith in the principles of Rotary was restored in multiple ways. We had the chance to make a life changing impact on the patients of epilepsy via our signature project, the Epilepsy Surgeries project. That was the most rewarding of all experiences. The surgeries carried out by Dr. Kurwale and team helped in curing the conditions of the patients as also giving them a new lease of life. There were many other projects that enabled enhancing the living conditions of the people around us. The club has reached new heights in social service with remarkable projects like a clean water with coin and card dispensing solution at our first RCC also chartered this year, the beginning of phase II of Happy School at Ambawade with fund raising, the Nakshatravan project at ITI Aundh etc. Speaking of all the projects, the excellent teamwork by our members made it possible to work across most of the avenues of Rotary. All this would not have been possible if not for the support of the BOD members. I would especially like to thank Hon. Secretary Rtn. Anirudhdha Joshi and treasurer Rtn. Unmesh Risbood for their active participation and cooperation. My sincere thanks to Rtn. Balvir Chawla, AG and DG Pankaj Shah. I would like to extend my best wishes to PE Rtn.
