We spend our time working on merit badges, planning for our monthly camp outs and having fun!! The Boys had a great time at our annual Christmas party where they played games and had delicious snacks! We took a short break for the rest of the year but are back strong and preparing for our next camp out to Enchanted Rock State Park in Central Texas. The boys will work on climbing, hiking and basic camping skills. Rumor has it that there will even be some cave exploration involved! PACK 445 OUT OF FIEST ELEMENTARY

Welcome back to the exciting chronicles of Pack 445!

Our Scouts are having a fantastic summer and cannot believe that soon school will be starting! In July, the Scouts attended the first ever “Cub Olympics!” This was a great time that included a chili cook-off, basketball, shaving cream wiffle ball, a cobbler contest, a raingutter regata and much, much more. The boys and their families had a great time and cannot wait to do it again next year. Then, the Scouts were able to cool down from all the heat this month at the annual pool party. When they weren’t swimming, they were munching on some great snacks! We still have lots of room for new Scouts! So, if you have a boy in 1st-5th grade in the Copperfield area and would like to join scouting, please see our website at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ cubpack445houston for more information.
