Schools in the USA

The school system in the USA has its own rules and traditions. Each state can have different details, but many things are the same everywhere. The school year usually starts in August or September and ends in May or June. Students go to school for about 180 days a year. A typical school day begins around 8 a.m. and ends at about 3 p.m. There are different types of schools:

My best friend’s name is Daniel. He is tall and slim, with short dark hair and brown eyes. He usually likes wearing casual clothes, especially jeans and hoodies.
