The Year That Was

Last year was a year like no other. Despite the challenges, and so many restrictions, we still celebrated the end of the School year with our traditional services and events. And while they looked a little different, these traditions have never been more important. Instead of whole school events we held a series of year level Celebration Assemblies and Graduation Ceremonies, including the traditional Year 12 Tulip Assembly, Korovian Leavers’ Service and Valedictory Luncheon.

Thoughts from our Class of 2020 students: “I couldn’t have asked for a better school to graduate from this year! Thank you Korowa!!” “I have had a truly wonderful time at Korowa. My teachers have been a source of support and encouragement on both an academic and personal level and it has meant so much to me.” “I believe that given the circumstances, Korowa continued to give me and my peers the best education possible. Thank you for five great years.” “Sometimes quarantine has been really hard. But through texting, calling, emailing and ‘Teamsing’ we have stayed connected and found the strength to continue prioritising mental and physical wellbeing. And as the year twelves of 2020 move out into the world, to our separate universities, states and even countries, it’s good to know that friends are only a call away.”
