In the context of education, "learning" refers to a concept of knowledge that is mostly carried out by educators When a teacher operates in this capacity, he or she will make a serious and active effort to impart knowledge to his or her students It is important to understand that knowledge acquisition and knowledge growth are only a small part of the process involved in developing a fully developed personality Although there are many different theories of learning, four of them behavioristic learning theory, cognitive learning theory, constructivist learning theory, and humanistic learning theory—are frequently employed by teachers and educators.
As a teacher, Brad uses Behaviorism theory in his daily life to teach his students how to behave well in order to achieve the intended result from that conduct. Teachers' lives will be focused on changes in student behavior as a result of the stimulus (stimulus) and response (response). As a result, when instructing, kids will listen to what the teacher says. After that will be cognitivism and social constructivism, in which the process of teaching and learning with cognitive theory occurs in a continuous and thorough manner rather than in fragments or separately. The process of learning rather than the outcomes of learning is emphasized in cognitive learning theory As a teacher, Brad focuses on the process which is more essential than the outcome. Brad feels that his students are talented in different ways. Furthermore, Brad supports his students by providing learning tools and facilities that promote student motivation to learn. As a result, if the teaching process goes smoothly, the results will be good.
Following constructivism theory, "learning" is more easily comprehended by humans since humans build and grow knowledge based on past experiences. When Brad Cohen teaches, he tells his students about his experiences so that they can learn something from his story. Brad also allows his students to express their opinions and shares his own experiences for instructional purposes.
Lastly, Humanistic is based on an interest in how humans might use their cognitive abilities to create their lives and attain both individual and group selfactualization thereby realizing their entire humanity. When Brad transfers toward a new school where he is treated equally with the other students, several scenes are shown to support this theory. The principal show how humanism theory is related within like Face of obstacles to being more fully human, such as injustice, exploitation, and oppression, humans aspire to be more fully human in unity with others.
We learn a lot from this film, including both teaching philosophy and moral principles portrayed by the characters. In everyday life, a teacher must be able to design and implement various learning strategies based on learning theory that are appropriate for students' interests and talents as well as their level of development, including the use of various sources and learning media to ensure the effectiveness of learning.
E d u c a t i o n a n d t e c h n o l o g y a r e inextricably linked in today's modern education era, therefore the effect of technology has prompted educational players to compete to bring innovation and new colors in the learning process Technology facilitates the learning process because material is so easily accessible (access). Education (the process of learning) can be done online or anywhere (on the network) using the Zoom platform, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and so on.
It can be concluded that technology and educational theory will always coexist. Technology has indeed advanced, and education windows are also open from anywhere. That's why this film teaches us that learning theories that have been created by researchers must always be the foundation when teaching Because success in the teaching process also requires effort from educators to create someone who is useful for the future.
