Education plays a significant role in developing knowledge, abilities, and n e w u n d e r s t a n d i n g T h r o u g h education, it is believed that each person will be capable of improving themselves in all their actions as social beings and improving their knowledge. From the movie Sokola Rimba we will know that learning does not always have to be done formally in the classroom. Butet Manurung is a demonstrative example of the many motivated volunteers. Children living in rural areas, also known as forest people, are being taught to read, write, and count. The story of Butet Manurung teaches rural children who live upstream the Makekal river in the forest of Bukit Duabelas can give clear examples of how important education is in the perspective and theory of learning of humanism, behaviorism, constructivism, and cognitivism.

The first theory we can learn from the movie Sokola Rimba is Constructivism. What is Constructivism? Constructivism is a theory that emphasizes the process of children developing knowledge from the experiences they live with to help build their creativity. The role of children in this theory is that they must be active and independent in solving a problem and finding a solution to the problem. For example, Butet's daily routine with the jungle children is that they learn simple things that children can understand, and Butet provides all learning through the knowledge obtained at school through simple things Students are also taught to be independent and able to solve problems in learning so that students' creativity can develop Before or after learning begins, students will be in the cottage and take the initiative to learn more about what they need to improve If there are problems in understanding what is learned, they try to solve it as best they can. If they still can't, Butet will help.

The next theory explains the process of understanding information, namely cognitivism. In cognitivism, results do not determine students' success in learning, rather, it emphasizes more on the process of how they discover new things. An example from the movie is the teaching system provided by Butet After explaining the material, Butet will usually ask his students to help each other if there are difficulties in understanding what is being taught This helps educate and shape her students' mindsets during the teaching and learning process Then at the end of learning, the students will be tested on whether they know.

Behaviourism is a theory that studies changes in a person's behavior through all the habits carried out in their activities. Changes in behaviorism can be seen directly through the surrounding environment. To make sure that the knowledge they have learned is correctly transmitted, Butet asks her students to repeat what they learned the previous day. Another behaviorism that Butet applies is while walking, Butet will ask their students questions about counting and spelling letters, and they will respond spontaneously This behavior has a beneficial impact since the students' confidence comes along as they answer without fear and intend just to be able to teach her students whenever and wherever she is. Butet makes it a habit to teach using a little blackboard she brings everywhere she goes.

The theory of humanism focuses on the concept of developing humans to become fully human so that they can take part in the world and with the world in all aspects of life. Butet has a high sense of humanity but struggles to fulfill education in rural areas with all its limitations. Butet is a knowledgeable woman with a deep understanding and graduates from a famous college education. She could have taken a better job than being a teacher in a rural area, but the determination that guided her kept her going to help remote rural students and people who wanted to study. Another example of humanism theory in this movie is when Butet met Bungo, a boy from downstream who wanted to learn to read and write like the students that Butet taught. This allowed Butet to reflect on expanding the areas of education she was seeking to ensure equal learning opportunities for all children. Butet is persistent in her position, aware that educating people downstream who still maintain traditional beliefs is challenging. They suggest that pencils are a curse for the people, and there are numerous more barriers from the head office where Butet works. Since she overcame all of the obstacles to succeed in teaching upstream, she will take all precautionary measures to increase access to education for children despite the many difficulties.

Butet's struggle in the Sokola Rimba movie in educating and making children able to read and write is her desire to promote the importance of education in remote areas. She proves that education is essential for the future of the younger generation. Education does not look at race, ethnicity, religion, and others, but effort and desire to learn and pursue knowledge is the main thing and the key to everything for success Through education, not only the insight and knowledge received but also through education the character of students and their personalities are also taken into account because a good attitude reflects in establishing communication with others.
