Kohler Ronan starts work on the Fairfield University Quad Dorms and Yale University Hill House projects.

Work begins on Henry Abbott
Technical High School in Danbury, CT.

Projected chaos over Y2K amounts to “much ado about nothing.”
Kohler Ronan moves to Danbury, CT.
2001
Designs for renovations to Meteorite Hall at the American Museum of Natural History begin.
2002
The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden’s East and West Reflecting Pools project begins at MoMA.
2002
The Euro enters into circulation in twelve countries.
2003
The Mayflower Garden Rooms and Spa are completed in Washington, CT.
2004
Kohler Ronan begins its long-standing relationship with Greenwich Hospital.
2004
Design for the Hall of Human Origins at the American Museum of Natural History begins.
2005
Kohler Ronan starts work at Yale University’s Stoeckel Hall, our first LEED Gold certified project.
2005

2006 Delaware State University’s Wellness Center project begins, one of five buildings completed by Kohler Ronan on DSU’s campus.
2006
Design team starts work on new corporate headquarters for The Hartford in Windsor, CT.
Ronan opens its New York City office at 1370 Broadway.2007
Designs for the renovations to the American Museum of Natural History’s Roosevelt Hall and CPW Entrance begin.
2007
The first iPhone is released.
2008
The extensive redesign of the Wrightsman Galleries at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is completed.
2008
Kohler Ronan’s relationship with Aetna reaches new heights with the renovation of the Customer Care Atrium in their Hartford headquarters.
2009
Work on Western Connecticut State University’s Visual and Performing Arts Center begins.
2010
One of several Kohler Ronan projects at Marist College, the new Hancock Center opens to students and staff.
2010
Kohler Ronan completes the Fairfield University Art Museum in Bellarmine Hall, our first project designed in Revit®.
2009

Obama is inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States.2012
Kohler Ronan’s first LEED Platinum certified, netzero facility, the Kohler Environmental Center, is completed at Choate Rosemary Hall.
2011
Redesign of the David H. Koch Plaza begins at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The new plaza spans 4 city blocks.
2011
Atlantis, the last space shuttle, is launched from the Kennedy Space Center, marking the end of NASA’s Space Shuttle Program.
2012
Design begins for the Statue of Liberty Museum on Liberty Island.
2013
The New Mexico State University Center for the Arts is completed and achieves LEED Gold certification.

Kohler Ronan moves to its new Danbury office.
2014
Kohler Ronan moves its NYC office to 171 Madison Ave.
2014
Renovations to the historic John Jay Library at Brown University are completed.
2015
Restoration of the Thomas Jefferson Rotunda at the University of Virgina is completed.
2016
The Thompson Exhibition Building opens to the public and serves as the new focal point of the Mystic Seaport Museum.
2016
Kohler Ronan begins designs for the NYPL’s Midtown Campus renovation, including the Mid-Manhattan Library and Stephen A. Schwarzman Building.
2015
American Pharaoh wins the Triple Crown.
2017
Kohler Ronan is proud to be involved in Hartford’s revitalization as part of the team for UConn’s new downtown campus.
2018
Kohler Ronan is selected as MEP/FP consultant for the new Princeton University Art Museum.
2017
Kohler Ronan is selected for The Frick Collection’s Facilities Expansion and Enhancement.
2018
The New York Botanical Garden opens its newly designed Edible Academy.
