Southwick Zoo posts 2020 News Southwick Zoo 2020 season opening will unfortunately be delayed until at least May 4th. They are closely monitoring news, regulations, and information pertaining to COVID-19, and as they assess the situation they will post updates regarding zoo season on their website as well as FaceBook and Instagram. Please rest assured that their zookeepers are continuing to provide diligent care to the animals, and all animals are in good health. Their social media followers can look forward to photos and videos to help tide them over until they can open. 2019 Tickets: unused tickets from the 2019 zoo season that were dated to expire after May 2020 will now be accepted until October 31st, 2020. GALLIFORD'S RESTAuRANT & TAVERN Galliford's Restaurant & Tavern is open for take-out (with the option of curbside pickup) and delivery orders, Wednesday-Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A limited version of the restaurant's dinner menu is available as well as new family-style meals serving an average of 4 people. Galliford's is also giving back to the community by offering free kids meals with the purchase of adult entrees. One free child meal will be allowed per adult entree. Please be aware that this offer is not available for orders placed through DoorDash. EARTH Limited Since the 2020 opening will be delayed, current members of EARTH Limited will receive an additional 2 months, and any new memberships purchased during April or May before they open for the season will also receive an additional 2 months.
October 2020 to March 2021, your new expiration date will be in June 2021, to allow you two additional months in the 2021 zoo season, to account for the zoo being closed from November to March. EARTH Limited is also posting educational content on their FaceBook page daily at 1:00 p.m. to bring Southwick’s Zoo to you virtually.

Girl Scouts to offer Virtual Programming Opportunities Aligning with the growing trend of taking programming virtual, the program team at Girl Scouts of Central & Western Massachusetts (GSCWM) have begun offering digital opportunities normally offered at their leadership centers and camps, a perfect solution for families wanting to stay connected to Girl Scouts and continue their badge work. Each week, GSCWM program specialists will be releasing digital
activities, one focusing on a badge and the other will be a fun activity or patch program. There will be activities available across all six Girl Scout age levels.
