In my 20 years of real estate in the lake country, I have never seen more demand and escalating values in this market!

Kim and Lin Logan have been the top selling agents in Georgia’s lake country for the past two decades. Because market reports and trends are most accurate when calculated over a period of time, we’ll be updating this information EVERY 6 MONTHS. Look for a new report in July, 2025. Until then, we’ll keep this information here for those of you who haven’t yet checked it out.
LAKE OCONEE 2024 YEAR END REVIEW & Market Update
HAPPY 2025! We hope everyone had a wonderful and prosperous 2024! The Kim and Lin Logan Team was again blessed last year and concluded 2024 selling more real estate in sales volume than any other individual agent or team in our market. Our total credited sales from the MLS were over $149,000,000. It is no accident because our amazing team of agents work tirelessly to be the most knowledgeable sources of information in our market, and to provide the highest level of customer service out there. This is the 18th year in a row that we have been #1 in our market! We are very optimistic and looking forward to 2025 and we send our best wishes for your success in 2025 too!
As discussed in previous newsletters, our market continues
to benefit from people wanting to escape from other parts of the country and the world, live in warmer climates, and enjoy the wonderful lifestyle and amenities of the lake country. As a result, the number of buyers (demand) continues to be strong. While the inventory of existing homes is lower than demand, new construction and development have increased over the past year. Consequently, it is a very favorable market for both buyers and sellers. While the continued higher interest rates are still a challenge, we forecast that our market will continue to be strong and attractive in 2025.
You can see from the statistics below that the Lake Oconee market was very similar from 2024 to 2023 with modest increases in some sectors.
These are very exciting times in our market as it continues to expand in size and popularity. SATURDAY ’DATE NIGHT’ CONCERT, JULY 26, 2025!
On Saturday evening, join us as we host a ’date night’ in Town Park. This year The Sensational Sounds of Motown band is back!! The concert is from 7:00–9:30 p.m., with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. This is a ticketed event; tickets are $15 at the gate. Kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, kids 13 and under come in for free when accompanied. All tickets are sold at the gate–there are no pre-sales. Come early to claim your favorite spot on the Great Lawn. Blankets, chairs, and coolers are all welcome on Saturday night–there are no food vendors on site. A limited number of tent spaces are available for rent for $25, please call Main Street to reserve your spot. Lawn tent spaces will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. If you don’t feel like sitting on the lawn this time around, reserve a Gazebo Terrace table and treat your guests to take-out from one of our nearby downtown eateries. A Gazebo Terrace table is $100 and includes four concert tickets. Each table comes with four chairs (ask about room for two ’bring your own’ chairs), firefly lights, and a small cooler of ice to keep your beverages chilly. No pets in the park on Saturday (unless service animals).

About Circle of Love Center, Inc.
Founded in 1997 as the Greene County Family Violence Task Force, Circle of Love began after a tragic local incident highlighted the urgent need for support and protection for victims of domestic violence. By 2002, the organization had grown into what we now know as Circle of Love Center, Inc., an emergency safe shelter and resource center based in Greene County, serving survivors in Greene, Morgan, Hancock, Putnam, and Baldwin Counties.

- Case management and legal advocacy
- Court accompaniment and transportation
