P ws for thought at dog show
WELL, Killarney’s glamorous canine population was well and truly put through its paces on Monday as the always exciting dog show got Birds EuroShow Carnival Week off to a wonderful start. From miniature pooches to mighty hounds, all enjoyed their moment in the sun – literally, considering the soaring temperatures at Fairhill even into the evening – and they and their owners more than deserved the limelight at the pageant for our fourlegged friends. Also unfolding throughout the week were the ever-popular fancy dress, doll show and wildflower show.
