Complete our Safety Brief in the lower car park.
Test Drive and enjoy the unique capabilities and performance of your chosen vehicle.
*Please note that all Test Drives are subject to availibility on the day.
The test-drive route is a pre-defined 8km loop from the MCEC car park around Port Melbourne and returning via Williamstown and Normandy Roads, that should take approximately 30 minutes.
We understand that getting behind the wheel is a key decision factor for many buyers. That’s why Test Drives are available at this year’s event, designed to offer you the opportunity to experience the latest electric and hybrid vehicles firsthand.
Here, you’ll get the opportunity to feel the smooth performance of an EV vehicle as you navigate a specially designed course that showcases their agility and cutting-edge technology.

Luxury has always been a reflection of what we value, what we aspire to, and how we choose to move through the world. For decades, luxury in the automotive world was indulgent, excessive, and often a little loud. But that definition is changing.
Recently named Drive.com.au’s 2025 Luxury Car of the Year under $100,000, Polestar 4 represents the new type of luxury that’s quietly taking hold: one that favours intelligent design, refined performance, and sustainable material choices. On display at this year’s Melbourne International EV AutoShow, the SUV-coupé comes together to create an experience that feels more authentic and more aligned with modern values.
From the outside, Polestar 4’s design is where this philosophy becomes immediately clear. Built from the ground up, not one detail on this car was left undesigned, thanks to a team of engineers and designers who worked tirelessly to create a car that is not only striking to look at, but functional and comfortable, too. The new smart all-electric range was specifically designed with the new mobility needs of users in mind, providing a whole new sensation of space inside the cabin through intelligent use of their unique e-mobility platform architecture. All interior designs are defined by superior room efficiency, supported by unique design features such as the ambient light and floating centre consoles.
Thanks to their modern software environment, every smart #1 or #3 is an intelligent companion in everyday life, supporting the driver with an intuitive ecosystem for driving, such as a highway assistant (HWA) and automatic parking assist (APA). The smart range also features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, allowing drivers to bring smartphone features and apps to the comprehensive and engaging infotainment system.
