ScholarshipGuidelines
The Delbert and Edythe Barnes Scholarship Fund was established for students who have graduated or will be graduating (those attending their senior year of high school) from any Lee County, Hancock County or Clark County School District. General Education Diploma (GED) students are also eligible to apply for the Delbert and Edythe Barnes Memorial Scholarship.
Successful applicants will have attained at least a 2.0 (C) grade point average at their high school; be a high-school graduate or have received a GED; have financial need and a strong desire to embark upon a career in the Construction and Building Trades Industry.
Scholarship recipients must be enrolled at Southeastern Community College (SCC) with the intention of matriculating and receiving a degree in the area of the Construction & Manufacturing. This is a renewable scholarship for a second year (provided the student has maintained a 2.0 (C) grade point average) in their first year at Southeastern Community College.

ScholarshipGuidelines
The Geraldine Boyd Memorial Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to students pursuing a Nursing Degree or a Nurse Practitioner Degree from Southeastern Community College (SCC). The applicant (s) must be a high school graduate from any Hancock County Illinois, Lee County Iowa, or Clark County Missouri High School.
The applicant may also have a GED or home school equivalent. The applicant must also have a permanent address in Hancock County Illinois, Lee County Iowa, or Clark County Missouri at the time of the initial scholarship application.
Each Geraldine Boyd Memorial Scholarship Fund is worth up to $2,000.00 a year for 2 years. Scholarship recipients are eligible to apply for renewal for a period of 1 additional year if the recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good standing at Southeastern Community College.
The scholarship recipient must maintain a 2.5 GPA at Southeastern Community College (SCC) to receive a Geraldine Boyd Memorial Scholarship Fund Renewal Scholarship. If the scholarship recipient does not maintain a 2.5 GPA, it is at the discretion of the donor (s) to request repayment by the recipient of the previously awarded scholarship funds.

ScholarshipGuidelines
The Fort Madison operations of Climax Molybdenum, a subsidiary of Freeport McMoRan, supports annual scholarships to High School graduating Seniors planning to continue their education at a College/University, Vocational or Trade School. Scholarship amounts can be up to $1,000, with priority consideration given to students entering STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and/or mining related career paths including environmental sciences, technical degree programs such as diesel mechanics, truck driving, and trades (electrical/ electrician, infrastructure based).
The scholarship award will be given to the recipient's college/ university, in their name, upon submission of proof of enrollment, to be used toward tuition and/or other direct expenses. The competitive award will be based on career goals, field of study, academic record, extracurricular activities, community involvement, essay composition and financial need.

ScholarshipGuidelines
The Peggy Dickey Memorial Scholarship was established for graduating seniors from any Keokuk, Iowa High School or home-schooled equivalent student. The student must be a resident of Keokuk, Iowa.
Students must also be in the Top 25% of their graduating class at their Keokuk High School or display high academic achievement in their home-schooled program to qualify for the Peggy Dickey Memorial Scholarship. Successful applicants should also demonstrate a financial need for this scholarship.
A Peggy Dickey Memorial Scholarship recipient (s) must attend or be enrolled in an Iowa college or university upon high school graduation or completion of home-schooled equivalent. Each scholarship could be worth up to $2,500.00. Multiple scholarships may also be awarded.

ScholarshipGuidelines
The Graduating Keokuk Seniors will compose an essay (minimum of 1,000 words) on any topic that pertains to their future goals, interests or values. The essay should contain a clear introduction with a thesis statement, well-developed body paragraphs with supporting evidence, a conclusion that summarizes the main points, and a logical structure that connects ideas coherently.
Each Robert Dickey Essay Scholarship award could be worth up to $2,500.00 with a potential maximum award at $5,000.00. Multiple scholarships may also be awarded. A Robert Dickey Essay Scholarship recipient (s) must attend or be enrolled in an Iowa college or university upon high school graduation or completion of home-schooled equivalent.

ScholarshipGuidelines
The Molly Hurley Memorial Scholarship was created to honor the memory of Molly Hurley and to give forward to those in the community who dream to follow in Molly's footsteps in the art of cosmetology.
The Molly Hurley Memorial Scholarship is an annual scholarship created by the Molly Hurley Scholarship Committee and the Keokuk Area Community Foundation. Molly Hurley Memorial Scholarship (s) will be awarded to any student pursuing a career in cosmetology.
If awarded a Molly Hurley Memorial Scholarship, the student must be enrolled in a college/university/ cosmetology school before receiving a scholarship payment. The student applicant must also have a permanent address from Lee County Iowa, Clark County Missouri or Hancock County Illinois.

ScholarshipGuidelines
With a generous donation from the Pardall Family the Keokuk Area Community Foundation and North Lee Community Foundation established the Eric Pardall Memorial Scholarship in Lee County in 2022.
Eric Pardall Memorial Scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors and high school graduates of Central Lee High School, Holy Trinity Holy School and Fort Madison High School pursuing studies in auto/diesel repair, agriculture, medical sciences, nursing, engineering, information technology or any trades.
Applicants must have at least a 2.0 GPA but not more than a 3.5 GPA. Higher GPAs will be considered to award sufficient scholarships under this program. Selection criteria will include financial need, personal character, and career goals.

The Jerry Stukerjurgen Memorial Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to students pursuing an Agriculture Degree from any accredited United States College or University.
Jerry Stukerjurgen Memorial Scholarship Recipients must be a graduate of Keokuk High School, Central Lee High School, Mt. Pleasant High School, Fort Madison High School, Holy Trinity High School, Danville High School, New London High School, Mediapolis High School, Winfield/ Mt. Union High School, West Burlington High School, Burlington High School, and Van Buren County High School. The scholarship award amount is up to $2,500.00

ScholarshipGuidelines
The Matteson Scholarship is an endowed scholarship fund of North Lee Community Foundation and the Keokuk Area County Community Foundation. Every year, the Matteson Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors, college students, continuing education students and students pursuing a new career. Since 2020, over $950,000.00 has been awarded.
The Matteson Scholarship is a renewable scholarship for 4 years. Each Matteson Scholarship is up to $2,000.00 a year for the first two years and then up to $4,000.00 for years three and four.
Southeast Iowa High School seniors, adult applicants and home-schooled students must live in the Iowa Counties of Lee, Des Moines, Henry or have attended Wapello Senior High School to apply for a Matteson Scholarship.
Applicants must have at least a 2.0 GPA but not more than a 3.5 GPA. Higher GPAs will be considered. Selection criteria will include financial need, personal character, and career goals.

The Donald and Bonnie Hoenig Speech Scholarship honors the life of Bonnie Hoenig by providing scholarships for students seeking a degree in Speech Therapy /Speech Pathology, or any related field.
The Donald and Bonnie Hoenig Speech Scholarship (s) will be awarded to students who are currently attending or have graduated from any school in Southeast Iowa, which includes the following counties: Des Moines, Henry, Jefferson, Lee, Louisa, and Van Buren. The Donald and Bonnie Hoenig Speech Scholarship will also accept applications from students residing in the Illinois Counties of Hancock, Henderson, and Adams. Finally, the Donald and Bonnie Hoenig Speech Scholarship will accept applications from students residing in the Missouri Counties of Clark and Lewis.
The scholarship applicant must be pursing studies in in Speech Therapy/Speech Pathology or any related field at an accredited college or university. Each scholarship awarded could be worth up to $5,000 a year. The Donald and Bonnie Hoenig Speech Scholarship is a renewable scholarship for four years. Candidates for the Donald and Bonnie Hoenig Speech Scholarship should have maintained at least a 2.5 grade average in high school.

Mike Roach had a passion for construction and teaching the trade to others. He owned and operated his business, M/R Construction, in Fort Madison, Iowa for over 40 years performing most of his work in Southeast Iowa and West Central Illinois as a remodeling contractor. He taught several others the trade including his daughter, Kristi Roach, leaving behind a continuing legacy of craftsmanship.
The Mike Roach Building Trades Scholarship is awarded to Fort Madison High School and Holy Trinity High School Seniors. The student must be pursuing a career in the Building Trades Industry which includes, but not limited to construction, engineering, electrical, painting, ironwork, HVAC, carpentry, plaster and cement, welding, plumbing, and roofing.
Candidates for the Mike Roach Building Trades Scholarship should have maintained at least a 2.5 grade average in high school. Preferred scholarship candidates will articulate their desire to work in the construction and/or building trades whether for large scale projects or retrofitting and rebuilding existing buildings and structures.

The Keokuk Area Community Foundation Leaders Scholarship was established for graduating seniors from any Lee County, Hancock County, or Clark County High School. Students must be in the Top 25% of their graduating class at their high school.
The Keokuk Area Community Foundation Leaders Scholarship recipient (s) must attend or be enrolled in an Iowa, Illinois or Missouri college or university upon high school graduation. The scholarship award is $1,000.00.
