Unlimited communication between you and our experienced sales team. Two separate wedding suites will be provided on the day of the event, allowing ample space for the wedding party's dressing and preparation. Additionally, complimentary snacks and mimosas will be served to enhance your gettingready experience. Indulge in a personalized culinary journey by selecting custom food options after a private tasting for two. All necessary tables, banquet, and ceremony chairs will be provided for your convenience. China, glassware and flatware will be available to compliment your dining experience. Our team looks forward to assisting your team with the rehearsal, ceremony timing and your personal decor. Our dedicated staff will handle the set-up and clean-up of tables, chairs, linen, and table settings, relieving you of any additional tasks. Enjoy a 5-hour long reception with the option to extend the duration if desired. To celebrate your special day, a complimentary sparkling wine toast will be provided for your entire wedding party.

TIMELINE NOTES: Total time with an onsite ceremony is 6 hours an offsite ceremony is 5 hours. Once the offsite ceremony is over and you arrive to the venue, we can head directly out for photos on the golf course (weather pending). The time on your invitation must be the same time as your contracted start time. IF you anticipate late guests and put an earlier start time, guests will have to wait in the lobby.

WHEN ARE TOURS AVAILABLE? Tours are available by appointment only.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO SECURE A DATE? To reserve a date, we kindly ask for a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of $1,000. Please note that dates are reserved on a first come, first served basis. We are unable to hold dates without the required documentation and deposit.
WHAT IS THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE AFTER PAYING THE DEPOSIT & SIGNING A CONTRACT? The $1,000 deposit is paid at signing of the contract and will be applied to your total event cost. 6 months out, 25% of your total estimated cost is due, 3 months out 50% of your total estimated cost is due, & 3 business days in advance the remaining balance is due.
WHAT IS A FOOD & BEVERAGE MINIMUM? A food & beverage minimum is the basic and mandatory amount that you have to spend on food and beverages to have your event with Dismal River Club. Our minimums are $4,500 Sundays - Fridays, and $6,500 for Saturdays.
CAN I BRING MY OWN CATERER? No - As we operate a full restaurant on the premises, we are obligated to serve as the exclusive caterer for all events hosted on our property.
DOES THE WEDDING PARTY HAVE TO STAY AND BREAK DOWN THE WEDDING? NO! Leave it to us! We do require that all décor is removed from the club after the wedding. The event manager may allow for pick up the next morning, but Dismal River does not assume responsibility for items that are lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR MILITARY WEDDINGS? We are honored to discount club rentals by $500 for all active duty and retired military brides and grooms.
DO YOU OFFER TASTINGS? Yes, we encourage tastings in fact! They are complimentary for two people with every wedding package. Private tastings can be scheduled Wednesday - Friday between 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
DO I HAVE TO USE YOUR VENDORS? Our Preferred Vendors are tried and true and are very familiar with Dismal River. Knowing this, you are not required to use the ones on the list, however, the vendors you choose must be licensed and/or insured.
DO YOU HAVE WIFI? Certainly! We offer convenient onsite guest Wi-Fi access for both your vendors and guests.
DO YOU OFFER REHEARSALS? Absolutely! As part of your wedding package, we are pleased to provide complimentary assistance with your rehearsal. Additionally, we offer rehearsal dinner packages to further enhance your wedding experience.

We would be honored to host your wedding at our beautiful venue location. Note: We do not "hold" any date(s). A date is secured with the initial non-refundable deposit and a signed contract.
Deposit Schedule To Secure Your Wedding Date a $1,000.00 Non-Refundable Deposit and Signed Contract is Required. Second Deposit: $1,500.00 Due 3-6 Months After Contract Signing. Third Deposit: $2,500.00 Due 6-12 Months After Contract Signing. We do not contact you to make your additional deposits. You would need to reach out to us before your deposit due date for us to charge a card on file, schedule a time for payment, or mail us a check.
ALL CHECKS NEED TO BE MADE PAYABLE TO Dismal River Club Acceptable Forms of Payment for First 3 Deposits: Credit Card, Personal or Certified Check, or Cash.
Final Guest Count & Payment 14 Days Prior To Your Wedding Date, Your Final Guest Count Is Due And An Invoice Will Be Generated By Your Event Planner. Final Payment Is Due 5 Days Prior To Wedding Date Acceptable Forms Of Payment: Bank Certified Check Or Cash Only. We do not accept personal checks, debit cards or credit cards for final payments.
