Social Media Rules
If an agent is using social media to promote themselves or property, they need to include the name of their broker and their license number.
Agents should not utilize or market other agents’ listings without written permission from the listing broker.
Agents can post Coming Soon properties on the company private facebook page if the listing is registered Agents should not use their professional social media sites to advocate their political or religious views. Agents should not use social media to negatively disparage properties, other agents, or companies. In addition to creating potential legal liability, doing so is also a violation of the Code of Ethics.
Marketing and Advertising Rules
1. In everything you do, you must use your DRE#, and it must be clearly identified with you!
2. On your email signature, YOUR DRE# should be under your name, not under the name of the Broker.
3. If you do not use a logo, you must state the broker's official name: Keller Williams Real Estate Services (Glendale and La Canada) or Keller Williams Realty World Media Center (Burbank). No abbreviations are allowed.
4. Use the DBA logo - Not a generic one.
5. If you use a personal logo, you must use the Company logo, and your logo can be no larger than the company logo.
6. All materials must include the disclaimer: All offices are independently owned and operated.
7. Disclaimers must be at least as big as the smallest type on the piece. Minimum 6pt type.
8. All social media and websites must contain agent and broker identification in the "profile/about me/information sections. On websites, the Company Logo must be in the first screen
9. Please refer to the “Disclaimers" file posted on the Private Facebook page for required disclaimers.
