Inrecognitionof Women’sHistoryMonth, AbsoluteTitleispartnering withGirlsInc.ofNew HampshiretolaunchAbsoluteSuccess,aprogramthat supportseconomicliteracy andintroducesyoung womentocareerpathways intherealestatebusiness.

AspartofAbsoluteSuccess,AbsoluteTitlewill sponsorGirlsInc.’seconomicliteracycurriculumat theNashuaandManchester centers,aswellasasummer campsessionforgirlsfrom bothlocations.Absolute TitlewillalsohostparticipantsintheYoung Women’sLeadership summerprogram.Thisexperiencewillgiveteensthe opportunitytoshadowtitle andrealestateprofessionals,andmakethelink betweeneconomicliteracy, careerpathsandhomeownership.

Absolute Success will teach financial literacy to girls of all ages – with lesson plans and activities tailored to different age groups. Pictured above, girls in Girls Inc.’s youngest age group learn how goods are exchanged through bartering. Each girl received four of the same items (such as gummybears orpeanut buttercups) andhad tobarter witheach otheruntil they possessed four different items.

As excitement builds for the total solar eclipse on April 8, Girl Scouts are learning about solar science and how to safely view the eclipse. Troop 62526 in Plymouth made pinhole projectors from cardboard boxes, one ofthe activitiesoutlined inthe GirlScout SolarEclipse patchprogram. Toearn thepatch, theyalso learn about astronomy, how the eclipse happens, and ways to watch the eclipse. The patch program was created by Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains in partnership with Moon Over Vermont.
