Feed me, care for me, and when the day’s work is done, provide me with shelter, a clean dry bed and a stall wide enough for me to lie down in comfort. Talk to me. Your voice often means as much as the reins. See that I have plenty of water; I need lots of it, especially during the hot summer days and, in the winter, see that I have a warm blanket.
Pet me sometimes, that I may learn to love you and that I may serve you more gladly. Do not jerk the reins and do not whip me.
Never strike, beat or kick me when I do not know what you want, but give me a chance to understand you. Watch me and if I fail to do your bidding, or am uneasy, nervous, or irritable, see if something is wrong with my bridle or saddle or my feet, etc.
When I go lame, I may have corns, a stone or a nail in my foot. If necessary, take me to a good blacksmith.
Examine my teeth when I do not eat. I may have an ulcerated tooth and that, you know, is very painful. If I am not doing well, give me something for worms, for they may be taking my strength.
Do not tie my head in an uncomfortable position or take away my best defense against flies and mosquitoes by cutting off my tail.
Brush and curry me at least once a day, so my hair will shine and be nice and glossy. I want you to be proud of me when you show me to your friends.
And finally, O my Master, when my youthful strength is gone, do not turn me out to starve or freeze. Keep me not out in the rain all night or sell me to some cruel owner to be slowly tortured and starved to death, but do thou, O my Master, take my life in the kindest way and your God will reward you here and hereafter.

Notice: Buyers claiming to be tax exempt will be required to fill out and sign a Form 13. All others will be charged 5 1/2% sales tax.
We urge buyers to examine the horses that interest them prior to the sale. All horses are required to be on the premises the night before the sale. To the best of our knowledge, horses are free of disease or defect, unless called at sale time. Terms of the sale are cash; NO EXCEPTIONS. Drivers license is required for checks. Letter of credit may be requested. The sale personnel may withhold registration papers until the check clears the bank. If any buyer wishes to obtain the registration papers immediately, the horse must be paid for in the currency or certified check.
Any buyer who stops payment on a check will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Except as set forth in the last paragraph to soundness, any dispute which arises between buyer and owner on the matter of soundness, condition, printed information, or statements made from the auction block shall be restricted between the buyer and owner. The highest bidder is to be the buyer. If any dispute arises between two or more bidders, sole authority to settle the dispute as he deems fit is reserved by the auctioneer. His decision is final. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
The auctioneer, announcer, and employees act as agents only for the sellers, but assume no liability for either the buyer or the seller. Every effort has been made to insure correctness in the catalog, and in most cases, information quoted concerning the horses is taken from official records. There is no warranty, expressed or implied, as to the performance soundness, merchantability, and fitness for any purpose or breeding soundness of any horse offered in the sale. All horses sell sound unless otherwise stated in the auction ring. Owners will guarantee horses for soundness until 5:00 pm CT on Monday, August 26, 2024. Weber & Company Performance Horse Sale will have a vet on the premises and this vet will be the ONLY vet that can make soundness decisions in order to obtain refunds. Soundness will be based solely on, sight out of both eyes, good air, hit the ground on all fours, and not to crib. Furthermore, this soundness guarantee will NOT apply to horses with problems arising after the sale by buyers hauling or use of the horse.

. A son of Catsanova Cowboy by the legendary High Brow Cat he was born to hunt a cow and be athletic but he’s so much more than that.
His kindness and gentleness shine just as much as his talent and appearance. Anyone can ride him and feel safe while ranching or roping in the arena. He has been used extensively on the ranch for years doing everything from checking pastures and dragging calves to fire to roping big cattle outside. There is no task he can not do.
Over the past 6 months he has been in training in the heading, heeling and breakaway. He can do it all. In the heading he scores great, leaves flat and hard then rates before making a big move with control. As a heel horse he hunts the corner and gives you a perfect shot before sliding into a strong stop. Using that strong stop leads into the breakaway where he is really cool. Two Cats sits quiet in the corner then leaves using his speed to get into position and is easy to catch on before that big stop comes.
Two Cats will fit anyone from the Jr high level to the pros and will be lightly hauled by sale time.

This appendix bred gelding is from the first crop by our Junior Sire Rockets Legacy R19, and out of point earning daughter of “Ticket” (With All Probability). Little Rocket was trained and shown by Clayton Van Aken in heeling. This gelding will be one to watch in a couple years.

Leroy is a mini mule that is broke to death and can spin a hole in the ground. He is not a bronc or pony acting, but has a very fast walk and is alert. He does not like to be in a branding pen, and he does not like ropes. I would say he would fit a small kid that is a confident rider and not beginners. I was told he is also broke to drive but we have not driven him. I have had him in parades and nativity settings and he is a true champ. Nothing bothers him. However, a couple years ago there were 3 freshly newborn foals he stole from some mares and they ended up dying. But regardless, I’m pretty attached to this little guy, so a good home is a must.
Cookie is a real tiny mini hinny that Reece bought for me last Christmas. (That’s another story :)...Ask him about it!) Anyway, she was broke to ride, and I understand to drive also, but we have not had anyone around here little enough to ride her. Hopefully we’ll find someone by sale day!

Bo was originally bought as a weanling on Weber’s fall sale in 2010 and then we purchased him as a two-year-old. He carries Weber’s brand, son of Tee Baron Red. Bo is 14 years old and stands 15.2. He has been used in all aspects of ranching. He has packed elk out of the mountains and stands well for the farrier. He has been started on both ends in the arena. He is cowy and easy to get along with.

Chillie is a big, stout all-round horse the whole family can enjoy. He stands 15 hands and weighs 1250. We purchased him a few years ago for me to learn to team rope on. He is solid in the heading, and has a little heeling and breakaway experience. I made the short-go on him at the very first WSTR I ever entered and have placed on him at the Senior Pro Rodeos in the heading. Chillie has been used for all aspects of ranch work. I trusted him to drag calves at our branding with my dad that hasn’t been on a horse in over 15 years. I’ve placed on him at the county fair in the reining and pole bending, I even ran barrels on him at a PRCARodeo when the ground was bad. I’ve taught my barrel racing clinics off of him. Chillie is broke, gentle, easy to catch, stands for the farrier, and is UTD on his vaccinations. He has a wire cut on both front feet, but they are cosmetic. When I Am An Old Horsewoman
I shall wear turquoise and diamonds And a straw hat that doesn’t suit me. And I shall spend my social security on white wine and carrots, And sit in the alleyway of my barn And listen to my horses breathe.
I will sneak out in the middle of a summer night And ride the old bay gelding Across the moonstruck meadow If my old bones will allow.
And when people come to call, I will smile and nod
As I walk past the gardens to the barn And show instead the flowers growing Inside stalls fresh-lined with straw. I will shovel and sweat and wear hay in my hair
