Welcome!

We would like to start off by thanking our customers that have bought in the past and welcome everyone new to Boyle Ranch. It’s hard to believe that we are getting ready for our 8th year of private treaty bull sales. We are extremely grateful for everyone that bid on our female sale this last November. Visiting and meeting all our customers has been one of my favorite things of this business. We feel our calf crops are improving year after year as we are striving to produce bulls with our commercial producers needs in mind. We have a heck of a lineup of bulls this year and we think there is something for everyone in this year’s crop. We have horned and polled bulls available. All bulls can be reserved with a deposit and will be delivered free of charge after we semen check in April/May. So, you can choose your bull now and let us develop him until you need him in the spring. We develop our bulls with our customers

in mind, meaning we don’t push our bulls to be fat for the catalog. We develop them slow and grow them so they can go out on grass and work without falling apart. We have had multiple reports of our bulls looking just as good coming off grass as they went on. As always, we stand behind our cattle and customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. Sale Details

We are excited to be offering 25 quality bulls this year to our customers via private treaty. Bulls range in age from fall yearlings to spring yearlings. We have Full Fleckvieh, Purebred and Commercial bulls available.

We develop these bulls with our customers success in mind. They have been grown at a moderate pace so they will hold up through the summer breeding season.

Cattle were pictured on February 24, 2024 for the catalog. EPDs were pulled on March 6, 2024.

Delivery Sale Terms

Bulls can be secured with a $1,000 deposit and kept free until May 15. All bulls will pass a Breeding Soundness Exam before delivery.

Fleckvieh cattle are known for their maternal calving ease, efficient growth, cow longevity, milk quality and performance in the feedlot and on the rail. Here at Boyle Ranch we believe Fleckvieh cattle bring value to every sector of the cattle market with great weaning weights for the feeder calf producer, great maternal characteristics for the replacement heifer market, and also their ability to convert in the feedyard and dollar up on the rail. Igenity Maternal Index (IMI): This index is highly maternal and designed to select replacement heifers for fertility, longevity and higher weaned calf weight. It is a tool developed for producers who sell calves at weaning or after a short backgrounding period.

A really sharp deep red, blaze faced cow bull that will catch your eye. This guy has a lot of great terminal and maternal traits in his pedigree. Why Fleckvieh?

We began using Fleckvieh in our commercial operation 11 years ago, and we became believers! We were looking to increase our weaning weights and build more efficient females. That is why we believe in the Fleckvieh breed they are a dual purpose breed that will put quality meat on the bone while still having the milk and maternal characteristics that cattlemen strive for. Calves sired by Fleckvieh bulls reach market weight faster than their Angus sired counterparts on the same diet. They convert their feed more efficiently and yield better.

Which means more dollars made per calf with the same resources!
