We would like to start off by thanking our customers that have bought in the past and welcome everyone new to Boyle Ranch. It’s hard to believe that we are getting ready for our 9th year of private treaty bull sales and have hit the 10 year mark of starting Boyle Ranch.. We are extremely grateful for everyone that bid on our female sale this last November. Visiting and meeting all our customers has been one of my favorite things of this business. We feel our calf crops are improving year after year as we are striving to produce bulls with our commercial producers needs in mind. We have a heck of a lineup of bulls this year and we think there is something for everyone in this year’s crop. We have horned and polled bulls available. All bulls can be reserved with a deposit and will be delivered free of charge within 300 miles after
we semen check in April/May. So, you can choose your bull now and let us develop him until you need him in the spring. We develop our bulls with our customers in mind, meaning we don’t push our bulls to be fat for the catalog. We develop them slow and grow them so they can go out on grass and work without falling apart. We have had multiple reports of our bulls looking just as good coming off grass as they went on. Sale Details
We are excited to be offering 25 quality bulls this year to our customers via private treaty. Bulls range in age from fall yearlings to spring yearlings. We have Full Fleckvieh, Purebred and Commercial bulls available.
We develop these bulls with our customers success in mind. They have been grown at a moderate pace so they will hold up through the summer breeding season.

About The Breed
Fleckvieh cattle are known for their maternal calving ease, efficient growth, cow longevity, milk quality and performance in the feedlot and on the rail. Here at Boyle Ranch we believe Fleckvieh cattle bring value to every sector of the cattle market with great weaning weights for the feeder calf producer, great maternal characteristics for the replacement heifer market, and also their ability to convert in the feedyard and dollar up on the rail. We have a nice selection of coming fall yearlings and spring yearling bulls. We have red and black Fleck influenced bulls and fullblood Fleckvieh bulls.

Delivery Sale Terms
Bulls can be secured with a $1,000 deposit and kept free until May 15. All bulls will pass a Breeding Soundness Exam before delivery.

Igenity Maternal Index (IMI): This index is highly maternal and designed to select replacement heifers for fertility, longevity and higher weaned calf weight. It is a tool developed for producers who sell calves at weaning or after a short backgrounding period.
Igenity Production Index (IPI): The Igenity Production Index is well balanced for maternal, production and carcass progeny traits. It is designed for producers who raise their own heifers and want broad improvement across multiple traits.

Lynx is going with Lobo to a customer in NE. These two will make quite the pair working on a set of cows. Lynx is our of our 32B line of cows that have stood the test of time. His Dam was some of the original cows we brought to our operation from Canada.
Luther is a Sarg Son out of a Talladega daughter. His Dam has a beautiful udder. Luther has a very balanced EPD Profile. Luther had a great Stayability score and REA score on his Igenity test. These results don’t surprise me with having Talladega in his pedigree.

Lucky is one of the Hobo bulls we are offering this year. We used Hobo on some of our bigger BW cows to help moderate frame and BW. He was the answer for those kind of scenarios and a true heifer bull. We unfortunately had to ship him after a bad injury last summer. His dam is an Usher daughter who we really like that is out of a Great Guns Karl Daughter. Lucius had good WW igenity results and REA.

We really like his mother; we picked her up at Stanley Martins sale a couple years ago now. He has a great disposition and a very balanced EPD profile.
Mark is the youngest calf in our offering. He has absolutely exploded in the developing yard. Usually, we don’t offer bulls this young but he is impressive. His
29M is one heck of an Arno son our of one of our favorite spring cows. She is a Brink Genetics sired cow. She has done wonderful things for us and we are getting ready to calf a Hobo daughter she gave us a couple years ago. We have excellent reports from the 29 cowline progeny from customers in the past.

Fleckvieh?
We began using Fleckvieh in our commercial operation 12 years ago, and we became believers! We were looking to increase our weaning weights and build more efficient females. That is why we believe in the Fleckvieh breed they are a dual purpose breed that will put quality meat on the bone while still having the milk and maternal characteristics that cattlemen strive for. Calves sired by Fleckvieh bulls reach market weight faster than their Angus sired counterparts on the same diet. They convert their feed more efficiently and yield better. Which means more dollars made per calf with the same resources!
