Roving the Riviera LUXURY, SMALL GROUP ESCORTED 10 Days/9 Nights -

Day 1: Verona Arrive on own to Verona hotel, check in and enjoy a free afternoon exploring the beautiful city of Verona. Early eveing we meet in the hotel lobby to make our way to a local osteria on foot for dinner. Tonight, we enjoy an Opera* in the Roman Amphitheater, Verona Arena. Overnight in Verona. Day 2: Verona, Modena, Ferrari This morning after breakfast we travel to the the famous culinary capital of Modena for a chance to taste historic Balsamic Vinegars in a real “Acetaia”. You will have a chance to grab lunch on your own before we travel to nearby Maranello to visit the Ferrari museum. Travelers immerse themselves in the Ferrari story past and present, and top off the experience with a another very special experience, lap the Autodromo di Modena for 15 minutes in your own car. Early evening return to Verona for dinner on own. Day 3: Genoa After breakfast, early morning check out as we make our way to Genoa. Over 1000 years of history feels alive in Genoa, and no more so in its extensive old city, a tightly twisting maze of narrow caruggi (laneways). Genoa s one of the oldest and largest European seaports along the Mediterranean. Today, the stunning Italian Riviera maritime republic has all but shed its industrial past and greets visitors with first class museums, historic landmarks and outstanding restaurants to explore. After checking into our hotel we enjoy a walking tour of the old town where we will get a chance to sample the delicacies of the local shops. Tonight we will enjoy dinner on the terrace overlooking the entire city and port. Overnight in Genoa. Day 4: Genoa, Portofino, Italian Riviera After breakfast, we have an early morning departure via ferry from Genoa’s Porto Antico. Travelers have the full day to hop-on, hop-off the ferry and explore the Italian Riviera on your own including Recco, Camogli, San Fruttuoso and Portofino. Dinner tonight at local trattoria. Overnight in Genoa. Day 5: Monaco, Eze, French Riviera After breakfast, we have an early morning checkout of our Genoa hotel and make our way to Cannes. Along the way we stop in Eze and Monte Carlo, Monaco. Perched in an "eagle's nest" at the height of an imposing and superb cliff, travelers will discover a small Provencal village, offering a panoramic view of the sea and coast-line. Here we will tour Perfume Factory and Museum of Galimard. Next we travel to Monte Carlo, Monaco where we visit the Prince’s Palace and Private Collection of Antique Cars Museum. Travelers have lunch on own in Monte Carlo.

Overnight in French Riviera. Day 6: French Riviera - Cannes/Marseille After breakfast, travelers enjoy a guided tour of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes*. Travelers on the 6/13 departure will enjoy a walking tour of Marseille before enjoying the day on their own. Travelers on the 6/27 departure will have the day to relax and enjoy Cannes on their own. They may choose to take a ferry from Cannes to the nearby Santa Marguerite island where they can enjoy the natural beauty of the French Riviera. Travelers on the 7/11 and 8/8 departures make their way to Marseille stopping in quaint towns in the French Riviera along the way. Overnight in the French Riviera, dinner on own. Day 7: French Riviera After breakfast, we enjoy the French Riviera. Today we will visit quaint seaside villages and cities along the French Riviera may include Saint Raphael, Saint Tropez, Nice. Early evening return to the French Riviera for dinner on own. Overnight in the French Riviera. Day 8: High Speed Rail, Lyon After breakfast, we check out of our French Riviera hotel. After we check out from our hotel, we will have the early morning to explore the French Riviera and take in some last minute shopping. And then we will board the high speed train to enjoy the scenery of quaint French villages and breathtaking vistas from our first class seats. After check in at our Lyon hotel, we make our way to the The Textile Museum which has 2000 years of history of textiles (the first collection in the world). After The Textile Museum we will make our way to Lyon Halles - Paul Bocuse covered market, a place of the taste buds, a mythical institution of good food, a must-see for tastes and flavors, the Lyon Halles - Paul Bocuse are emblematic of the gastronomic excellence of Lyon and France. Tonight, gourmet meal at our hotel’s michelin star restaurant. Overnight in Lyon. Day 9: Lyon After breakfast we discover Lyon’s Old Town on foot. Enter the world of Silk through the "Traboules" passageways. In the heart of the silk-weavers’ district, watch the demonstration on looms used in days goneby. Travelers have the afternoon free to take the funicular up to Fourvière, relax in the spa, take a cooking class or get in some last minute shopping. Tonight we savor a fabulous wine with cheese and charcuterie selected by our sommelier and prepared by our renowned Chef. Afterwards, we enjoy fine french dining at a Michelin star restaurant. Overnight in Lyon. Day 10: End of the tour After breakfast, our tour commences. You may choose to extend your journey in Paris.
