With the battle cry “Great L.E.A.P.”, this year was certainly fruitful as Senate Legazpi bagged six trophies during the awarding ceremonies held on November 13, 2021.
Attending the National Convention was no easy feat. Registered members were required to follow strict health directives to ensure the safety of all participants. Added to this, a few of our members braved an almost 20 hour drive from Legazpi to Cauayan City.

Additionally, first timers to the event are the newly minted Senators Isabel Reynoso and Jeanette Uy who participated virtually.
What makes this year’s National Convention special was that it was hosted concurrently with the regular JCI members. It was a goal a year in the making for both JCI Senate Philippines and JCI Philippines members to convene together in the hopes of strengthening the bond between the two organizations. A few of the activities were jointly attended, such as the Opening Ceremonies and Banquet Dinner, allowing senators and regular JCI representatives to mingle with each other.
