With Unit, the duo Birgitte Due Madsen and Jonas Trampedach have pushed the boundaries and created a multifunctional piece of furniture in ceramics. A brave mix of material and function and a unique item that with its clear, Scandinavian idiom fits perfectly into any interior design. The ceramic piece of furniture is a natural progression in Kähler’s efforts to challenge the ceramic material into new applications and thus create surprising designs. For the first time, Kähler has created a piece of furniture that also stands as a unique design object.
