End of Year Cycle Recommendations from JustFund As we enter the Fall, we wanted to reach out to support your planning around your end of year giving. We wanted to share a few key dates to keep in mind as you plan for any upcoming grant cycles. While these dates are flexible given your team’s preference on how long you would like to have a cycle open and to review submissions, our recommendation for launching end of year grantmaking is the following:
For our Full Service Partners: October: Recommend launching your end of year cycles within the first few weeks of October to give your applicants enough time to apply November 21: Recommended grant cycle deadline date. We usually see applicants leaving for the Thanksgiving holiday and would recommend in order to stay on time that you set your deadline on or prior to November 21 November 23 - 24: JustFund Staff Out of Office for Thanksgiving holiday December 4: Final date to mark grant commitments in the JustFund platform in order for grants to be disbursed to grantees by the end of 2023 December 11: Disbursement of grants December 19 - January 2: JustFund Staff Out of Office
