BerkEley College

franklin College, Switzerland

Berkeley College offers practical teaching programs primarily in Business fields. A multi-cultural student body and eight locations offer international students a wide range of possibilities. The largest campus is in Mid-town New York City, global epicenter for culture, fashion, arts and business. This dynamic setting enhances the student’s experience with a classroom outside the classroom. Providing students with actual work experience is one of Berkeley’s greatest advantages. To help students achieve their career goals, every degree program has an internship requirement. Berkeley offers the unique benefit of helping students obtain their internship. Quarterly Tuition is $7250, annual tuition is $21,750. International scholarships are available to students who qualify. Scholarship applications must be received with the admission application. The most popular programs are Fashion Marketing & Management, International Business and Marketing. Currently there are 798 International students enrolled as degree seeking students or as study abroad students.

Franklin College, located in Lugano, Switzerland, offers a U.S and Swiss accredited Bachelor of Arts Degree program. Fifteen majors are offered including International Relations, International Management, Media & Communication Studies, International Economics, Modern Languages, Environmental Studies. A special two-week academic travel program is required each semester to destinations in Europe, Africa, Asia and the U.S. The College overlooks the city and lake of Lugano, a 15-minute walk from campus. Our residential campus is home to 450 students representing 62 countries and includes 10 residence halls, a student center, dining facilities, art studios, library, auditorium, classrooms, computer labs, gymnasium and playing field. Applicants should submit an online application, three recommendation letters, official school records, 2 essays and official SAT or TOEFL scores. All applicants are considered for scholarships and need-based financial aid is offered. Tuition, room & board and fees for the 2010-2011 academic year are Sfr. 57,340 / USD 45,570.

The College of St. Scholastica, founded in 1912, is a traditional residential, liberal arts college located in Duluth, Minnesota, with an enrollment of 2200 full-time undergraduate students from forty-two countries. Annual tuition is $28,200. Scholarships are available based on merit and need. Saint Scholastica offers 41 academic areas of study. Indiana university-purdue university Indianapolis (IUPUI) Created as a partnership of Indiana University and Purdue University in 1969, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) is an urban research university that offers 225+ majors through 22 schools, and is the home Indiana University campus for state-wide programs in medicine, dentistry, nursing, and social work. USN&WR places IUPUI in the top 20 in First Year Experience, Service Learning, and Learning Communities, and highlights IUPUI as an “Up-and-Coming” national university. IUPUI has a total enrollment of 30,300 students, 1,450 of which are international students representing 140+ countries. Tuition for the 2011-2012 academic year is $24,428. Most competitive and admissions-based scholarship programs are open to international students. Offers range from $3,500 to $14,000 per year, renewable for four years. On average, IUPUI’s admitted freshmen have a B+ average (3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale). SAT or ACT is required for students seeking scholarship consideration.

Manhattanville college Manhattanville College, founded in 1841, is a private, fouryear, coeducational, liberal arts institution. The College is located in prosperous and thriving Westchester County, New York on 100 beautiful acres. The campus offers the spaciousness and leisurely pace of a suburban location along with the resources of New York City, which is just 30 minutes away. Located on Canada’s Atlantic coast, Memorial University of Newfoundland is a high-quality public institution with a wide range of programs and affordable tuition. Memorial has 18,000 (1150 International) students on four campuses: the St. John’s campus and Marine Institute in the provincial capital of St. John’s; the Grenfell campus in the city of Corner Brook; and the Harlow campus in England. Pepperdine university Pepperdine University, a private Christian comprehensive University, is located in Malibu, California, thirty-five minutes west of Los Angeles. A residential community nestled within the Santa Monica Mountains and overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Pepperdine offers rigorous curriculum in seven academic divisions. Seaver College is the university’s undergraduate program, enrolling approximately 2,950 students. Pepperdine attracts students from a myriad of backgrounds including students from all 50 states and over 70 countries. SCAD is qualified to prepare talented students for professional, creative careers. SCAD graduates are in high demand; job placement is 80% within six months of graduation. The innovative curriculum at SCAD emphasizes learning through individual attention via small class sizes although enrollment is 10,000 students; 10% international. SCAD offers 43 majors and 50 minors with locations in Savannah and Atlanta, Ga., Lacoste, France, Hong Kong and online programs through SCAD-eLearning. SCAD attracts students from all 50 states and over 100 countries. SCAD is a private, nonprofit institution accredited by SACS to award Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Master of Architecture (five year accredited), Master of Arts, Master of Fine Arts and Master of Urban Design degrees, as well as undergraduate and graduate certificates. SCAD offers scholarships for international students based on academic and artistic merit that range from $3,000 to full-tuition which is $30,510 not including room and board.

Founded in 1883, Stetson is the oldest private university in Florida & ranked in the top 3 “Best Colleges in the South”. Stetson has four campuses, the historic DeLand campus,25 miles from Daytona Beach and 35 miles from Orlando, home to the College of Arts & Sciences, School of Business Administration, and School of Music. The University of Tampa is a private, medium sized comprehensive university offering over 120 majors, minors and pre-professional programs. 6000 students attend, representing 50 states and nearly 100 countries. Highlights include: an innovative freshmen year program, state-ofthe-art facilities, an Honors Program, peer tutoring, Writing Center, internships, faculty directed student research and study abroad. The University of Denver is a mid-sized, private, comprehensive college located in a residential area of Colorado’s capital city. As a U.S. News and World Report Top 100 university, DU is the oldest private university in the Rocky Mountain region. The average class size is 21 students, with a faculty/student ratio of 1:8.
