Alter Ego Show Goats was established in 2019 in Wakeman, Ohio by the Clemons family.
Elite genetics and superior show stock are both hallmarks of Alter Ego show Goats. Our firm not only offers state-of-the-art reproductive services but also offers to the public, semen options from arguably the most competitive stud buck pen in the industry. In addition, the firm’s elite donor pen is capable of producing some of the most competitive show goats available anywhere.

Khalessi was purchased by our firm with the intentions to campaign her as a show doe and then hit the flush table as soon as possible. Our team was fortunate enough to view Khalessi before Clark and Kathy made the trip to Orlando, OK to showcase her at The Exclusive. We knew that she would fit our needs as a show doe and production piece. Her show career was short lived and extremely impactful being crowned the GRAND DOE JABGA NATIONALS. We then knew we needed to start phase two and get her back to Wakeman to start generating elite livestock that can be fed to reach the backdrop themselves. Khalessi no doubt will be a fundamental building block in our firm for years to come.

If you are paying any attention at all it is quite obvious how we feel about what this donor has to offer. After acquiring “CROWN THE KING” we purchased his flushmate sister “KHALESSI” who went on to win a national show. It wasn’t long after that we made a deal with Clark and Kathy to purchase their dam, Tag 2167.

With excellent flushmates off to an extremely hot start, including the 2023 JABGA National Grand Champion Commerical Doe, CROWN THE KING looks to be one of the hottest young sires that we have had the opportunity to work with. Visually, KING’s extension, progression of width, and charismatic presence is unmatched. Very rarely do stock with CROWN THE KING’s elevation and elite attitude come equipped with the amount of mass, substance, and bulk this guy is packing. Carry On’s dam is a flushmate to the Grand Doe at the Georgia Nationals. This buck is uniquely elite, Carry On is big caged, extremely wide in his pin set, tucked up in his chest floor, stout skulled, and tiny eared. He is flawless in his flexibility on the move. Carry On is stout from every angle and puts it all down with big timber to be truly unique. We could not think of a better prospect to tie into our program. This buck also comes from the deepest flush we have ever had the opportunity to evaluate. We look to utilize him early and often in our program.
Elite doe families separate the programs that will have generational success and those that will be a flash in the pan. After seeing how incredible Carry On was our eyes quickly diverted to a buck prospect with a lot of the same qualities in a FREAKY package. After viewing both bucks we wanted to double down on this genetic package so that we make the biggest impact on our program as well as our customers.
Progressive is a buck that brings a lot of hard to make pieces to the table including structural integrity, true skeletal width and as much feature as any in our industry. We look forward to seeing immediate impacts on our upcoming kid crop.

Commercial Doe at the Buckeye Livestock Expo in 2022. “Big Paint” is a Flushmate to our Stud Buck “GOLDBERG”. She is an ET baby from our matriarch donor doe “Tag 9293” who has produced multiple does who have made their way into our donor pen. In her rookie year “Big Paint” produced 20 embryos and some of our most winning kids of the 2024 show season. She has made many of our high selling wethers, keeper does, and is adding to her resume quickly as a proven donor.
Big Paint and Sista’s dam has impacted our herd in a massive way. We have 4 keeper females and a buck out of their dam. She is also the mother to our high selling $9,000 wether at The Exhibition. Our firm has high hopes for both sisters as we head towards the upcoming kidding season!

We are fortunate enough to have two high end donors from this flush and look forward to implementing both of them as early and often as possible in our donor program.

“SEXY RED” seemed like a fitting name for this red LUMBERGH doe kid. This doe had donor written all over her from the time she hit the ground. It is impossible not to become excited when a female comes equipped with so much feature. “Sexy Red” has a stout skull that sits on top of an extremely feminine neck while still being so pulled apart in her chest floor and pin set. She is the type we hope to recreate quickly and often in our ET program. Her stoutness and style from the side have made many take notice during their time in Wakeman. We are all in on this female and have big plans for her in our breeding operation.
Lumbergh was purchased from Kouns Livestock in 2020 after an exhausting search for a program changing stud buck. I do not believe I could possibly come up with the words to describe just how far Lumbergh has exceeded our expectations. In our show string alone he has produced Grand and Reserve Champion commercial does at the Ohio State Fair, a Grand Champion commercial doe at the ABGA national show, countless top 10 state fair does and wethers, as well as a
keeper stud buck and countless elite daughters in our donor pen. It is a tall order to find a buck that will generate kids with this kind of resume. We anticipate that you will find Lumbergh’s name in the pedigree of our firm’s champions for years to come.

This donor is one that has unlimited potential to push our breeding operation to another level and besides how often is there an opportunity to purchase the sister of “NOT TONIGHT”!! The genetic value alone on this offering is nearly priceless. Tag 2034 is a donor doe raised from the heart of our ET program a couple of years back. This NOT TONIGHT daughter carries the density and power that her pedigree promises. Her dam is from the heart of Allan Morgan’s program and has been an incredible piece in our operation. She has made females who were slated to “never leave the farm”. Tag 2034 is a massive hipped, round caged female that should stamp out offspring capable of playing on any stage in the country.
Ten head of confirmed pregnant recipient does from the heart of our embryo transfer program. We have strategically mated these donors with the sires that we believe provide the highest upside for ourselves and our bred recip investors. Representatives of these exact matings will hit the sale block for Alter Ego this Spring. Never before have we opened up the genetic pool from our operation like this. The potential for the owners of these ten recipients is unlimited. Jump into our program at the ground level with proven genetics and results. There are no filler lots in this sale, the offspring resulting from this sale are from our A-list donor dams. All lots are designed to have a quick return on investment for our customers.

- Recips have been confirmed pregnant via ultrasound at 60 days
- Recips are current on all shots, treatment and vaccines per our protocols
- We will guarantee that all recipes will carry a fetus to full term 5 days +/- their due date, however we can not guarantee that the kid will we viable due to environmental and health practices outside of our control after they transfer ownership
- Should a recip not carry a fetus to full term (139 days from transfer) Alter Ego Show Goats will refund the full purchase price of the bred recip minus $400 for the value of the Recip female and SC Online sales fees for the lot.
- Recip becomes property of the buyer at the close of the sale and must have transportation plans in place within 48 hours from close of sale.
- Recips must be picked up in person from Alter Ego Show Goats or coordinated with a third party on a dedicated trailer. NO MULTIPLE

1031 is one of the three yearlings that came home with us from Gustine. When we purchased this donor, we believed she possessed the attributes to create stud bucks. This donor stuck out as the stoutest in the pen, even at Allan Morgan’s. She was the most massive stifle to stifle as well as the most explosive backed doe in the group. This future donor handled like she was on a drench protocol even as a yearling in the Texas heat. A year later she performed exactly as intended producing a pair of buck kids who now stand in our buck stud named Goose and Maverick.

A pair of yearling flushmates that we purchased from deep inside of Allan Morgan’s keeper pen. We love Allan’s genetics and these donors have made a huge impact on our program. Tags 1065 and 1066 have generated females we are currently flushing and wethers that have racked up countless wins. The genetic power and makeup of these females’ is that of royalty. These donors possess the same DNA as the legends “Sea Bass” and Spencer Smith’s buck “PayPal” which is exactly what we felt that we needed to implement in our breeding program. This female comes equipped with more than enough stoutness while still being a functional and flexible option. Tag 2385 has a dynamic look from the side that makes her easily versatile when selecting the buck to match her with!

Possibly the biggest footed female we have on the farm. This blackhead female is unique as she is a stout enough where she needs to be yet pretty and refined to make her still look like a lady. One we feel has lots of generating power to make them dynamic from the side with all the extras of foot size and hair. We look forward to continue utilizing Tag 3096 to make some unique pieces in our program with our cutting-edge buck battery.
