Barman em destaque Besondere Barman • Featured Barman Helder Pereira (12-04-85) é jagoz iniciou-se na restauração no Restaurante O Barco, passou por vários onde fez formação, Mary’s, Papa-pão, Tubo e desde 2015 faz agora a 2ª época está à frente do “Puro Malte”. O projecto à vista é casar e ter filhos e apostar forte na vida comercial. Hélder Pereira ist geboren am 12/04/1985 in Ericeira. Er bildete Sie in “Marys”, “papa pao” und “tubo”. Arbeitete in verschiedene Restaurants, wie zum Beispiel “O Barco”. Seit 2015 ist er Chef beim Restaurant “puro malte”. Seine persönliche Ziele sind zu heiraten und Kind zu erziehen. Professionell will er im Kommerz stark eintreten und eine Auswirkung haben. No Oeste da Estremadura, a Ericeira é talvez, o último exemplar de localidade piscatória com imagem e personalidade, inalteradas através dos tempos. A Ericeira mantém curiosos ângulos e facetas, ainda com o estereótipo da classe piscatória, seus usos, costumes e linguagem, que ainda tem sinais de auto vicentino, com diálogos entre si, carregados de contundência e jocosidade. Em plena costa Estremenha, ocupando o centro do grande arco da costa limitada pelo Cabo da Roca e pela Berlenga, a Ericeira, assenta, enfrentando o Atlântico, sobre arribas de mais de 25 metros acima do nível do mar, espalhando graciosamente o seu casario de grandes manchas brancas, sorridente, alegre e cheia de luz. Como dizia Henriques Lopes de Mendonça, “vista de fora, a Ericeira com as suas casinhas alvejantes, lembra um ninho de gaivotas que vão desprender-se no azul”. Localizada no distrito de Lisboa, a Ericeira está a 42 quilómetros da capital; a 10 de Mafra, sede do seu concelho; a 15 da vila de Sintra e a 27 quilómetros de Torres Vedras, nas coordenadas 39º,1’ de latitude norte e 57’ de longitude ocidental. Situada imediatamente a norte do sistema montanhoso Sintra – Montejunto – Estrela, a Ericeira localiza-se numa zona de transição entre dois espaços do continente que são divididos pelo

Rio Tejo e o seu vale. O Porto de Pesca da Ericeira é a única saída praticável para o mar e situa-se no trecho da costa entre Cascais e Peniche. O seu microclima é condicionado pela situação de transição atrás referida entre o sistema montanhoso que acaba ao norte do Tejo e a Lezíria das províncias do sul. É considerada a mais iodada das praias portuguesas. No Verão apresenta temperaturas médias de 25º, e no Inverno mesmo nos rigores máximos, estabelece mínimas médias de 8º/9º. A Ericeira tem quatro praias distintas: Sul ou Baleia, Porto, Peixe, da ribeira ou dos Pescadores, Norte ou Algodio e São Sebastião, com areias e águas bastante batidas do Oceano Atlântico, alterado na sua temperatura em toda a costa portuguesa pela corrente quente do Golfo. Entre as praias fora da vila estão: a sul, as zonas balneares do Lizandro (mar e rio) e São Julião; e a norte, a Ribeira d’Ilhas, que pela configuração, correntes e ondulação é preferida internacionalmente para provas de surf, e São Lourenço. A sul, deixa ver o perfil majestoso do espinhaço da Serra de Sintra e o Cabo da Roca que dá à Ericeira um dos mais belos enquadramentos de horizonte marítimo da costa portuguesa.

Die Küste der Estremenha, ist die Mitte von einem Großen Bogen, der von dem Cabo da Roca und den Berlengas besetzt wird. Ericeira hat einen Blick auf den Atlantik, mit Klippen die mit ungefähr 25m über den Meeresspiegel stehen, und verbreiten somit sehr viel Licht und Fröhlichkeit. So sagte es auch ein Herr Namens Henriques Lopes de Mendonca : “Von außen betrachtet ist Ericeira mit ihren Typischen Häusern wie ein Nest voller

Möven die sich vom Blauen lösen” Ericeira liegt örtlich 42km von der Haupstadt Lissabon entfernt, 10km von Mafra, dort wo sie ihren Gemeindesitz hat, 15km von der Villa Sintra, und 27km von Torres Vedras. Ericeira liegt nördlich von den Bergen von sintra das sich Montejunto Estrela nennt. Ericeira befindet sich in einer übergangszone, und ist durch zwei bereiche des Kontinents und dem Fluß Rio Tejo und sein Tal geteilt. Der Fischerhafen von Ericeira ist der einzig gangbare zugang zum Meer und liegt auf der Strecke der Küste zwischen Cascais und Peniche. Daher wir Nördlich von den Bergen von Sintra liegen, haben wir ein sogenanntes Mikroklima. Die Strände unserer Küste gelten als die , die am meisten Jod bestitzten. Im Sommer haben wir durchschnittlich 25 Grad und im Winter mindestens 8 bis 9 grad Ericeira hat 4 verschiedene Strände: Südstrand, Fischerstrand,Nordstrand und Sao Sebastiao. Außerhalb haben wir noch andere strände ,südlich: foz do lizandro, Sao julao und nördlich, Ribeira d ilhas die durch ihre stäkeren Wellen als die beliebteste zum Surfen beforzugt wird. Südlich ,können wir die Fabelhafte aussicht der Serra de Sintra genießen, und die aussicht auf den Cabo da Roca, schenkt Ericeira einer der schönsten Meereshorizonte der Portugiesischen Küste.

Among the out of town beaches are: the south, bathing areas of Lizandro (sea and river), San Julian and in the north, the Ribeira d’Ilhas who’s configuration and current is internationally preferred by surfers, and St. Lawrence. The south, lets you see the majestic profile of the ridge of the Sierra de Sintra and Cabo da Roca that gives Ericeira one of the most beautiful sea horizon frames on the Portuguese coast.

Pão de Mafra Mafra Brot • Mafra bread

a paisagem rural do Concelho de Mafra fazem parte dezenas de moinhos de vento que ilustram o pão como base da alimentação das populações num passado ainda recente. Eles são a prova da vitalidade de uma indústria que não se perdeu, tendo-se apenas renovado e modernizado. O Pão de Mafra é um dos tesouros desse mundo rural português, reconhecido pelo seu sabor adocicado, miolo macio e crosta pouco rija. Desde 2012 que o Pão de Mafra é uma marca registada. O principal objetivo da certificação do produto foi desde logo o combate às falsificações, que sempre foram um problema para os produtores. Quanto à receita, pode-se apenas divulgar que se trata de um pão com elevada percentagem de água, composto por farinha de trigo tipo 80, farinha de centeio tipo 70, sal e levedura. he Mafra County countryside has dozens of windmills illustrating the bread as staple diet of people in the recent past. They are proof of the vitality of an industry that has not been lost but has been modernized. The Mafra bread is one of the treasures of this Portuguese countryside, renowned

for its sweet taste, soft crumb and slightly tough crust. In 2012 the Mafra bread become a registered trademark and the main objective of the certification of the product was to battle against counterfeits, which has always been a problem for producers. As for the recipe, we can only disclose that the bread has a high percentage of water, consisting of wheat flour type 80, type 70 rye flour, salt and yeast. Barrel, Carvalhal and Incarnation are the places where this activity is more prevalent, producing bread for the whole country. To promote the Mafra bread brand, the Town Hall hosts the annual Bread Festival in the Enclosed Garden in Mafra.

Estou com gripe há mais de um mês!”, “Vivo com sinusite!”, “Tenho sinusite crónica!” — são afirmações que ouvimos diariamente nos consultórios médicos. Para a população geral, constipação, gripe, sinusite ou rinite são sinónimos. No entanto, na maior parte das vezes, trata-se de uma rinite. A rinite é uma patologia muito frequente na população e consiste numa inflamação da mucosa de revestimento nasal. No conjunto das doenças alérgicas é, sem dúvida, a mais prevalente. Caracteriza-se pela

presença de um ou mais dos seguintes sintomas: obstrução nasal, rinorreia, espirros, prurido e hiposmia. Em situações arrastadas e não controladas poderá complicar-se com sinusite, polipose nasal, otite ou asma brônquica. Dependendo do mecanismo da inflamação, consideram-se diferentes quadros clínicos: - Rinite alérgica: Os alergénios como os ácaros, fungos, pólenes, pêlos de animais, látex, entre outros, são a causa mais frequente. Os sintomas típicos são caracterizados por crises de espirros, congestão e obstrução nasal e corrimento aquoso. A comichão nasal é muito frequente podendo envolver, também, a garganta, os ouvidos e os olhos. A alergia ocular ou conjuntivite está frequentemente associada, sendo caracterizada por olho vermelho, lacrimejo, comichão de maior ou menor intensidade e sensação de corpo estranho. Em doentes que apresentam sintomas apenas em algumas épocas do ano, os pólenes e alguns fungos são as causas mais frequentes. A duração e intensidade de sintomas dependem dos ciclos de polinização específicos e sofrem variações regionais muito importantes. Os sintomas oculares acompanham, geralmente, estes doentes. Os alergénios do ambiente doméstico como, por exemplo, os ácaros, são a causa mais importante de sintomatologia persistente ao longo de todo o ano. Tratamento: Para além da evicção alergénica, o tratamento da rinite baseia-se no uso de anti-histamínicos, anti-inflamatórios (corticosteroides intranasais),

imunoterapia específica (vacinas antialérgicas), entre outros. - Rinite ocupacional: Os sintomas resultam da exposição a alergénios presentes no ambiente profissional ou ocupacional. - Rinite infeciosa: Resulta da infeção dos seios da face por vírus, bactérias e outros agentes infeciosos. - Rinite induzida por medicamentos: A aspirina e outros anti-inflamatórios não esteroides são uma causa comum de sintomatologia nasal. - Rinite hormonal: Pode ocorrer resultante do ciclo menstrual, puberdade, gravidez ou doença endócrina. - Outras causas de rinite: Irritantes, alimentos, emoções ou idiopática. O tratamento destas formas de rinite varia com o quadro clínico em concreto. Em caso de dúvida procure o seu médico de família. Kinder erkranken durchschnittlich drei-bis acht mal pro Jahr,Erwachsene ein -bis dreimal. Kleine Kinder sind häufiger betroffen als große, Buben öfter als Mädchen ,Frauen hingegen öfter als Männer . Wenn Schnupfen in einer bestimmten Jahreszeit oder an bestimmten Orten immer wieder auftritt oder nicht abklingt,muss die Allergische Rhinitis der Allergiebedingte Schnupfen ,durch Allergietests ausgeschlossen werden. Rhinitis ist eine Schleimhautentzündung der Nasenhaupthöl. Besteht zusätzlich eine absonderung Eiweißreicher flüssigkeit,wird die entzündung als seriös bezeichnet. Seriöse Rhinitiden können durch verschiedene Ursachen ausgelöst werden . Dazu zählen viele virale Rhinitis, besser bekannt als “Schnupfen”, die Akute und Chronische Bakterielle Rhinitis,die durch allergische Reaktionen verursachte Rhinitis und die sogenannte Hyperreflektorische Rhi-

nitis,die durch eine überreaktion die Nasenschleimhaut auf unspezifische Reize entstehen. Die Behandlung der verschiedenen formen von Rhinitis variiert mit der Diagnose, daher ist es immer wichtig den Hausartzt darüber aufzuklären.

For the general population, cold, flu, sinusitis or rhinitis are synonymous. However in most cases it is a rhinitis. Rhinitis is a very common condition in the population and is an inflammation of the nasal mucosal lining. In the group of allergic diseases it is undoubtedly the most prevalent. It is characterized by the presence of one or more of the following symptoms: nasal congestion, sneezing, itching and hyposmia. If left untreated can worsen considerably and cause chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, ear infections or even asthma. Depending on the cause of inflammation there are different clinical causes: - Allergic Rhinitis:

Allergens like dust mites, mould, pollens, animal dander, latex are among the most frequent causes. Os desportos de deslise tão vulgares na Ericeira não estão isentos das chamadas lesões. Algumas das lesões são evitáveis através de uma boa preparação e aquecimento antes do exercício, mas outras mais, quer seja por queda, ou por de colisão física acidental não há como evitar! Uma lesão desportiva de uma maneira geral deve-se a treinos incorretos, anomalias de postura que forçam estruturalmente a massa muscular, a sua fraqueza, tendões e ligamentos. O repouso é sem dúvida, para as lesões mais comuns do desporto, um dos melhores remédios para total recuperação, no entanto os cuidados médicos e o tratamento de fisioterapia nunca devem ser desprezados. Hoje lembramos apenas: Cãibras A cãibra é uma contração parcialmente involuntária e dolorosa dos músculos que ocorre em função do desequilíbrio hidroeletrolítico da área onde a dor aparece. Ou seja, é muito comum a cãibra surgir durante ou após a prática de exercícios físicos dando sinais de que é preciso repor os níveis de água e sais minerais, como

o potássio e o sódio. Comer alimentos ricos em potássio, como banana e batata não-descascada, podem ajudar a prevenir as cãibras musculares. In Ericeira kommt es häufig zu sportlichen verletzungen. Daher sprechen wir heute das Thema Muskelkrampf an :der Muskelkrampf erscheint teiweise unfreiwillig und kann sehr schmertzhaft sein, daher es zu einer Elektrolystörung in diesem bereich kommt. Es kommt sehr häufig vor ,das der Krampft

um lugar-comum elogiar a luz da Vila da Ericeira. Não há luz sem sombra e nas suas variantes de meias tintas a Ericeira convida à pintura com as suas paisagens de mar ou de casario mal arrumado. É um lugar de artistas. Hoje mostramos as aguarelas e falamos do seu autor … Nasceu a 8 de Agosto de 1944. Começou cedo, mas a paixão pelo futebol falava sempre mais alto, até que por fim, mesmo jogando como guarda-redes em equipas profissionais , arrumou as botas e tudo trocou pelas tintas e pincéis. Comemorou os 25 anos de pintura em 2012. A aguarela apesar da sua técnica obrigar a paciência e a um apurado sentido da cor, nunca assustou Rui Pinheiro dado que a sua bonomia e persistência é reconhecida pelos amigos. Rui Pinheiro ist am 8 August 1944 geboren, seine Leidenschaft fürs Fußball spielen war sehr groß, bis er eines Tages herausfand das er eine größere Leidenschaft hat, und zwar die Malerei, daher schmiss er den Ball und griff nach Farbe und Pinsel . 2012 feierte er seinen 25 Jubiläum. Die Malerei erfordert sehr viel Gespür und Geduld, Speziell was Farben angeht, und trotz allem hat Rui Pinheiro sich nie davon abschrecken lassen, und hat durch seine Gutmütigkeit und Ausdauer sowie er bei Freunden bekannt und beliebt ist, nie aufgegeben. Bei seinen Treffen fand er heraus, der er noch eine Leidenschaft hat, das Fado singen ,die für seine Ruhige Art und Angeneheme Stimme bekannt geworden ist. Ericeira tornou-se Reserva Mundial de Surf a 14 de outubro de 2011, após consagração pela organização internacional Save the Waves Coalition. Foi apenas a 2.ª Reserva distinguida a nível global, permanecendo a única da Europa até hoje. Os critérios que conduziram ao seu reconhecimento oficial foram a qualidade e a consistência das ondas, a importante história e cultura de surf local, a riqueza e sensibilidade ambiental da área e, ainda, a forte mobilização da comunidade.

A Reserva Mundial de Surf da Ericeira integra-se no Concelho de Mafra, estendendo-se entre as praias da Empa e de São Lourenço, numa faixa costeira que concentra sete ondas de classe mundial num espaço de apenas 4 Km: Pedra Branca, Reef, Ribeira d’Ilhas, Cave, Crazy Left, Coxos e São Lourenço. “Os escassos quilómetros abrangidos pela Reserva da Ericeira são um verdadeiro património da humanidade”. It was only the 2nd Reserve to be distinguished worldwide, and remains the only one in Europe until today. The criteria which led to its official recognition were the quality and consistency of the waves, the historical and cultural importance of local surfing, the area’s environmental wealth and sensitivity as well as the community’s strong mobilisation behind the sport. The Ericeira World Surfing Reserve is part of the Mafra Municipality, extending between the Empa and São Lourenço beaches on a coastal belt that covers seven world-class waves in a space of only 4 km: Pedra Branca, Reef, Ribeira d’Ilhas, Cave, Crazy Left, Coxos and São Lourenço. “The few kilometres covered by the Ericeira Reserve are a true heritage of humanity.” SOS – Save Our Surf Movement Mais do que esculpir na rocha o passar do tempo, com força e voracidade, as ondas do Concelho de Mafra têm moldado a personalidade das suas gentes, influenciando as vivências das comunidades e reescrevendo muitas estórias enraizadas na tradição local. A consagração deste insubstituível e frágil recurso patrimonial como “Reserva Mundial de Surf” representa, para o Município de Mafra, muito mais do que o reconhecimento internacional das suas qualidades naturais e da sua vocação sociocultural: é uma homenagem às gentes do mar que, ao longo de séculos, tiveram o mérito de o enaltecer; e é, sobretudo, a assunção de uma responsabilidade na sua preservação, assegurando que este valioso património universal possa continuar a ser usufruído, na sua plenitude, pelas gerações vindouras — assim como o fizeram os pioneiros do surf em Portugal, que tiveram como bênção descobri-lo. E preservar é sinónimo de protecção da natureza, planeamento e ordenamento do território, oferta turística sustentável, educação ambiental, entre outros vectores fundamentais de um desafio alargado. Daí que esta responsabilidade exija, indiscutivelmente, um trabalho colectivo, envolvendo as entidades com competências na gestão do território, mas também a própria comunidade: associações locais, escolas de surf, empresas do sector, praticantes e cidadãos anónimos. O país que, a partir do mar, deu “novos mundos ao mundo” assume hoje um papel multifacetado. Die Erhaltung dieser Reserve ist ein Synomym für den Naturschutz, Planung und Landesmanagment,Tourismus Umweltbildung unter anderen Grundgelegenden Aspekten. Daher erfodert diese Verantwortung unbestreitbar eine Kollektive Anstrengung ,Organisationen mit einem hohen Know-how und die beteiligung der Gemeinschaft selbst sowie lokale Verbände, Surfschulen , Industrie , Praktiker und Bürger. Die Gemeinde Mafra wird weiterhin, eine feste Zusage Ergreifen um die Erhebung der Infrastrukturellen Gegebenheiten der Küste , im Namen des Schutzes der Natur beizutragen ,um ihre Vollständigen und Ordnungsgemäße Erfüllungen zu Ermöglichen ,erhalten und verbessern.

More than just carving the rocks over time with strength and voracity, the Mafra County waves have shaped the personality of its people, influencing the experiences of communities and rewriting many stories rooted in local tradition. Therefore it constitutes a clear factor of originality and uniqueness of its territory, whose valuation ensures a differentiated and exclusive offer. The consecration of this irreplaceable and fragile heritage resource as “World Surfing Reserve” is for the Municipality of Mafra much more than the international recognition of its natural and its socio-cultural vocation qualities: it is a tribute to the people of the sea that for centuries had the merit of the praise and is above all the assumption of responsibility for its preservation, ensuring that this

valuable universal heritage can continue to be enjoyed in its fullness by the future generations as did the surf pioneers in Portugal, which had the blessing of finding it and preserve our nature conservation. Protection, planning and land management, sustainable tourism, environmental education, among other fundamental aspects of an extended challenge. Hence this responsibility requires an indisputably collective effort involving entities with expertise in land management but also the community itself, local associations, surf schools, industry, practitioners and ordinary citizens. The country from the sea, gave “new worlds to the world” and today plays a multifaceted role. And simultaneously is a guardian of the waves and promoter of new uses (of which the surf is the

paradigmatic example) that as well combine the development sustained by the creation of new opportunities. The Municipality of Mafra will continue as always to take a firm commitment to contribute to the elevation of the infrastructural conditions of the coast always in respect for nature thus enabling their full and proper potential. In parallel it intends to establish itself as the driving force of an enlarged network to preserve, enhance and tourist-sports that won the coastline the status of “World Surfing Reserve.” After all, it is the heritage that this ancient sediment experiences - that explains what we are ... and we want to be!

icardo Jorge Salvado Cosme - “Richi”, começa o dia bem cedo e pelas 8 da manhã já está na sua loja, ali no lado esquerdo de quem entra na Praia da Ribeira d’Ilhas, todos os dias, de verão e de inverno, e só sai de lá às tantas… Naturalmente que sai para dar aulas, e sai quando lhe pedem para acompanhar alunos e grupos sobretudo em longas viagens ao estrangeiro que tanto podem ser a Marrocos, onde vai com frequência há já 11 anos, como à Indonésia, ao Sri Lanka, etc. Trata-se de colocar a sua experiência e conselho ao serviço dos alunos que se sentem muito mais seguros na sua companhia, escolhendo praias e itinerários. Os alunos aparecem não só de hostels e privados, para quem trabalha

em regime de não exclusividade. “Richi” como é tratado pelos amigos e estrangeiros, começou aos 14 anos e está agora com 41 anos (20 abril 1965). Trabalhou sempre no mundo do surf – o seu primeiro emprego foi na 1ª loja Surf Shop em Lisboa no Átrium Saldanha, passou pela Semente onde esteve 8 anos, em vários serviços e gestão. POCEAN, a sua empresa, tem o seu nome derivado dos barros da nossa região - o pote e da poção mágica que se guardava nesses potes. No fundo, algo que o mar do oceano tem de poção mágica que nos envolve no transcendente aroma visível na maresia… A “Pocean Surf Academy” Como o nome indica é uma escola de Surf, mas que pretende ser

mais que uma escola …uma família, e dispõe de vários responsáveis treinadores de Surf, qualificados pela Federação Portuguesa de Surf, e destina-se a quem pretenda aprender a Surfar ou aperfeiçoar o seu nível de Surf, numa praia mítica como Ribeira d´Ilhas, reconhecida internacionalmente como um dos melhores spots de Surf da Europa, estando inserida numa zona considerada pela Organização Save The Waves, a primeira reserva mundial de Surf da Europa, e a segunda no Mundo.

icardo Jorge Salvado beginnt seinen Tag sehr Früh, denn bereits um 8.oo Uhr ist er schon in seinem Laden in Ribeira d ilhas der sich auf der Linken Seite de Eingangs befindet und keine feste schließzeit hat daher er sehr beschäftigt ist. Er begleiet sehr viele Schüler nicht nur hier sondern auch im Ausland wie Marroko, Srilanka und Indonesien und das schon seit 11 Jahren. Daher er sehr erfahren ist in diesem Bereich fühlen sich die Schüler bei ihm sicher aufgehoben und können von ihm beraten werden. Die Schüler erscheinen nicht nur von Hostels oder auch Privat sondern von überall. “Richie” wie ihn alle nennen hat mit 14 Jahren angefangen zu Arbeiten was er bis Heute mit 41 noch macht. Richie hat immer im Surfbereich gearbeitet, sein erster Job war im Ersten Surfladen in Lissabon und dann war er 8 Jahre bei Semente. Den Namen für sein Unternehmen, wurde durch die vielen Tonfabriken die wir hier in der Umgebung haben inspiriert. POCEAN bedeutet für ihn Tonvase wo er seine Magie aufbewahrt und Ocean das Meer das fürihn dieselbe Magie mit dem Aroma der Meeresluft besitzt. “The Pocean Surf Academy” ist viel mehr als nur eine Schule ,sie

ist mehr eine Familie die Verschiedene Ausgebildete Surflehrer zur Verfügung hat, die von der Federacao Portuguesa des Surfs Qualifiziert sind. Surfen ist für jeden der Surfen lernen möchte sowie auch sein Surflevel zu verbessern. Daher empfehlen wir den Mhytischen Strand Ribeira d ilhas weil es einer der Besten Surf Spots Europas ist, und in einer von der Organisation Save Waves anerkannten Zone ist und die erste Weltsurf Reserve Europas und die Zweite Weltweit.

The “Pocean Surf Academy” As the name implies is a school of surfing, but they want to be more than just a school ... they want to be a family and has several responsible surf coaches qualified by the Portuguese Surf Federation and is intended for those who want to learn how to surf or perfect their level of Surf on the mythical beach of Ribeira d’Ilhas which is internationally recognized as one of the best surf spots in Europe and is inserted in an area considered by the organization Save the Waves as the first World Surfing Reserve in Europe and the second in the world. A Washstation foi a primeira a abrir portas e conta já com uma clientela fiel que aumenta todos os dias e de que fazem parte estrangeiros já habituados a este serviço nos países de origem e muitos portugueses que fizeram contas e acabaram por ter uma agradável surpresa com os preços cobrados quando comparados com o que se gasta em casa.
