Healthy Living – A Voice of Hope by Bible Having created Adam, the Lord God endowed him with a perfect body, an organism designed for eternal life in full health. However, Adam had violated God's original purpose. The man became mortal; he was overcome by disease, weakened fatigue, destroy stress. Life experience shows that people usually begin to take care of their health only after the ailment is felt. As a result, people put a lot of effort into “to repair and caulk their bodies,� although the disease is easier to prevent than to cure. Many diseases can be prevented; you just need to lead a healthy lifestyle. Despite the enormous progress in medical science in the last 50 years- and during this time it has advanced further than in the entire previous history of medicine - health care is still aimed at treatment, and not at disease prevention. Today, medicine is facing a new problem: an epidemic of organic diseases caused by the wrong lifestyle. Previous lessons were devoted to the spiritual health of man. But the Holy Scripture pays a lot of attention and Physical Health. Health in the Bible is presented as one of God's greatest blessings, and health care as a religious obligation of man. The principles of health given by God are described in detail in the Bible. By following these principles, everyone can live a healthier and more productive life. Our body has a huge potential not only for a full life but also for recovery in case of loss of health. Medicine today has many opportunities for restoring health, but it is much more prudent, and it is much cheaper to try to preserve your health before you need any outside intervention. And the first thing you need to pay attention to what we eat because the food forms the cells and tissues of our body. Every seven years there is an almost complete renewal of the cells of the body. Food is a building material for cells, and our body has the ability to independently "repair" breakdowns. And we may not even notice. It has long been observed that people who stick to a vegetarian diet are healthier and live longer. Therefore, many doctors strongly recommend returning to the original diet, which includes the use of nuts, cereals, legumes, fruits, and vegetables. However, those who go on a vegetarian diet need to take care to ensure a balanced diet, which would have enough food to replace the protein that we get from meat. So, the ideal diet includes fruits, vegetables, cereals, legumes, nuts, and the minimum amount of sugar. The problem is that instead of the food that nature gives us, we eat processed foods. In the process of processing, many products lose their beneficial properties and acquire qualities that, conversely, destroy our health. In search of ways to extend the shelf life of products and improve the taste of dishes, people invented refined products - refined flour (more healthy flour with bran is more difficult to store), hydrogenated fats (including margarine), polished rice, cereals, food additives, dyes, and preservatives.
