F A Fredericksburg holiday tradition for 44 years, the Historic Fredericksburg Foundation, Inc. (HFFI) Candlelight Tour is set for December 13 and 14, 2014. Over 1,500 tour patrons will visit downtown Fredericksburg to tour Six homes on Caroline Street and one home on Pitt Street. This year’s tour will include 101 Pitt Street - River Terrace, 1303 Caroline Street - The Schooler House Bed & Breakfast, 1304 Caroline Street - The Rising Sun Tavern (Day Tour only), 1316 Caroline Street, 1501 Caroline Street - Wellford House (Evening Tour only), 1518 Caroline Street, and 1601 Caroline Street. During the day, the tour patrons can enjoy local groups providing holiday entertainment along the street and a Ghosts of Fredericksburg story teller sharing fascinating stories about the neighborhood. Once again, Santa and Doc the Elf will be visiting tour patrons in line and in the homes. Always a festive part of the Evening Tour by Candlelight, this year’s Evening Tour ticketholders are once again invited to attend the cocktail party that will be held at The Kenmore Inn, immediately following the tour of homes. The Candlelight Tour Gift Shop will be open to the public, located at 1414 Caroline Street - entrance on Princess Anne Street. The Gift Shop will feature the works of local artists and artisans. Also available at the Gift Shop is the 2014 HFFI Christmas ornament and other HFFI items. HFFI will once again be offering

complimentary cookies and hot apple cider for all to enjoy. Cambridge Street, Falmouth Same-day tickets will be five dollars more and will only be available at the Fredericksburg Visitor Center and the HFFI Candlelight Tour Gift Shop. Tickets will not be available at the individual homes.
