PHILANTHROPY COMMITTEE CHAIR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspire others to give by making your personal gift to the campaign before asking others

• Make 3 to 5 in-person visits with board members to ask for a gift

• Assist in identifying and recruiting two fellow board members who will also make in-person visits

• Represent the branch at approximately one association event

• Participate in approximately two branch campaign events

• Achieve 100% of the Board campaign goal by December 31 to provide momentum and signal the Board’s commitment to the success of the campaign

• Every Board member is asked in person to support the Campaign and to make 3 to 5 personal calls, providing leadership to the overall effort

• All Board members make a “stretch gift” to the Annual Campaign

• The average gift of Board members is above the Chairman’s Round Table level

• Achievement of 100% of the $55,000 campaign goal

• Campaign Training / February Board Meeting

• Association Annual Celebration

• Branch Community and Major Gift Phase kick-off

• Branch Victory Celebration
