THE RHYTHM OF THE BUTTERFLY Contemporary Poetry Anthology by Santosh Kumar Biswa
Love at a Distance Far in the distance can I see a crescent, ravishing glen it is where the dusk had flourished. A white diamond of love does it expose, calling me with its unique excitement. Upon browsing it, could I image my love, like a red rose, spread in the crystal pond, calling me from a far distance, among all, to make love that never was. I tried with a blare, many a time, to forget you for a while, but couldn’t. It’s since a year in the foreign land, still I sense your discourse beside me, just in my ears, with endless lexis to express. Let not your shadow be the wall, that separates me from my lifelong continuity. To feel that moon should be my accomplishment, the new image in life with no compunction.
